  • oh, we're doing this..

    1. spiritual machines

    2. happiness..

    3. naveed

    4. gravity

    5. burn burn

    6. healthy

    7. clumsy (i know i'm in the minority... and although half of the album is stellar.. the other half annoys the shit out of me.)

  • alright, I've been a staunch OLP follower since Superman's Dead came out years ago when I was in teenage angst. I've grown up and OLP has evolved. Still to this day, there are a lot of their old tunes that I love. MY list of best Our Lady Peace albums is:

    1)Spiritual Machines

    2)Happiness...

    3)Naveed

    4)Clumsy

    5)Gravity

    6)Burn Burn

7)Healthy (I hate this album....it should have never been made. It felt forced and non-creative [imo])

*Curve looks like it will be awesome!

  • 1. For me it often changes between Clumsy, Happiness & Spiritual Machines, so I guess, really, all three are my favourite, then...

    2. Naveed

    3. Gravity

    4. Healthy In Paranoid Times

    5. Burn Burn

  • Im right by the ET at the begining of the video! =D

  • Anyone else think 'Heavyweight' is their best instrumental?

  • fuck i would loved to have seen these guys on NYE, lucky Canada

  • Since we're making lists I may as well make mine:

    1. Happiness....

    2. Clumsy

    3. Gravity

    4. Healthy....

    5. Spiritual Machines

    7. Burn Burn

  • @dshaw8771 wow I totally missed 6

    6. Naveed

  • @dshaw8771 Why Spiritual Machines so low?! =O

  • @Dolorosakil That one had a few songs on there that I just do not like at all. A lot of it was spoken word, as well which turned me off. I haven't listened to it in a while, but I'm sure it would stay in the same place as I love the ones above it to death.

  • @dshaw8771 Ah interesting! Each to their own of course. I liked the spoken word bits, made the whole concept of the album that much more like an experience. If it was just random spoken word, it would be futile but because it was a theme, concept album, it just added I feel.

  • This new album is going to be awesome! Raine's singing has improved out of sight in my opinion, he's singing more in the fashion of the older records, like the top comment said. Anyway, here's my list:

    1. Spiritual Machines

    2. Clumsy

    3. Happiness...

    4. Naveed

    5. Gravity

    6. Burn Burn

    7. Healthy in Paranoid Times

  • Spiritual Machines is their best album. On another note, this perfomance sounds amazing. Can't wait for the new album.

  • Sine we're listing off albums..

    1.Naveed

    2. Spiritual Machines

    3. Happiness

    4. Burn Burn(Shock!..)

    5. Gravity

    6. Clumsy

    7. Healthy

    (?).Curve?

  • Love these guys. I think Burn Burn is fantastic, and I cannot wait for Curve. I personally think Spiritual Machines was their worst album, too much robot stuff and only a few good tunes. As a real fan who's been listening since 95, they are the best most consistent band out there. Raine's voice is supposed to sound choppy and gritty, its what he does and what makes their sound unique. Seem em 15 times live, cant wait til the new tour to make it 16!!

  • @GreyFunkdt Everyone's entitled to their opinion... but if you say Raine's voice is supposed to sound choppy and gritty, why the hell did you like Burn Burn? His voice is awful in that album. And how in god's name could you possibly like it more than SM?

  • @HuluCanada Im not sure what point you're trying to make with my comment about his voice and yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I just think your opinion sucks! Maybe your problem lies in not understanding the songs as opposed to what is really good or not.

    This is my list:

    1-Naveed

    2-Happiness

    3-Clumsy

    4-Burn Burn

    5-Healthy

    6-Gravity

    7-Spirtual Machines

    Cheers!

  • @GreyFunkdt Wow! Weird list! Spiritual Machines at the bottom!? Interesting, but each to their own, of course!

  • TYGIYJFVKJGFHM such a good band.<3

  • Wasn't sure how I felt about it when I first heard it, but it has grown on me a ton. Then I heard it live....fucking awesome.

  • Am I the only one who thinks this is the hierarchy of the best 4 90's OLP albums (including SM)? Happiness... > Spiritual Machines > Clumsy > Naveed ? Everyone seems to think Clumsy is the best one, although it's still really good, it doesn't come up to the standards that SM and Happiness... set. Happiness was in a league of its own if I'm being completely honest, everything about it just clicked together and had such a brilliant flow to it, not forgetting the falsetto and ease of hitting notes

  • @robdabest02 I think Happiness and SM are the best by a million miles, but I think SM edges out Happiness.

  • @robdabest02

Happiness is my favorite as well.

  • I think Jeremy's going for the Ron Jeremy look :P

  • @blackcrow6667 I agree Naveed is a fantastic album but on a personal note Clumsy is by far their best album hands down

  • @Slacktoo interesting. good song none the less.

  • I love this song more and more each time I listen to it

  • i hate to be the weird fan, but i think Naveed and Burn Burn are their worst albums, this song and fight the good fight are promising. Clumsy, Happiness, and Paranoid are my favorite.

  • @Robiskool1234 wow. You're the first person I ever heard say that about Naveed. Why?

  • @joshwords I don't think their song writing was fully developed until clumsy and happiness, just my opinion. I enjoy Starseed and Julia though.

  • @Robiskool1234 I'm sure the band would admit it, but I'm not going to say I agree with you, but I really like your opinion and respect it. A solid view.

  • @Robiskool1234 My current list would be:

    1. Clumsy

    2. Spiritual Machines

    3. Happiness...

    4. Naveed

    5. Gravity

    6. Healthy in Paranoid Times

    7. Burn Burn

  • @Slacktoo

    1. CURVE (without a doubt, it'll shit on everything haha)

    2. Clumsy

    3. Spiritual Machines

    4. Burn Burn

    5. Happiness

    6. Healthy in Paranoid Times

    7. Naveed

    8. Gravity

  • @kennygmang Well I certainly hope Curve is that good, it certainly looks promising and the fact that the band is pushing their artistic creativity so much is a great indicator

  • @kennygmang I HIGHLY doubt it will be up to the standards of clumsy

  • @Slacktoo

    My list would be similar.

    1. Spiritual Machines

    2. Happiness

    3. Clumsy

    4. Naveed

    5. Healthy in Paranoid Times

    6. Gravity

    7. Burn Burn

  • @bcortens Pretty much like mine, 1,2 & 3 always change round though. Sometimes its 1,2,3, other times its 3,2,1 and sometimes it's 2,1,3 or 2,3,1 :P Either way, your top three (four) is the same as mine, although I prefer Gravity to Healthy In Paranoid Times.

  • @Robiskool1234 How could Naveed be bad when it was their first album that brought them out to the world?? You need a hearing aid perhaps, just sayin.

  • @Robiskool1234

    1 Spritual Machines

    2 Gravity

    3 Naveed

    4 Happiness

    5 Clumsy

    6 heathy

    7 Burn

I love spritual Machines...But this looks promising. Its sort of a throw back.

  • @Robiskool1234 of all the olp albums, the only one i didnt buy was burn burn

  • @Robiskool1234 At least you don't think Clumsy, Happiness or Spiritual Machines is one of the worst! Naveed is very raw, I personally love it, but I can see why some may not. Burn Burn is just the worst.

  • This song has me really excited about OLP again. Awesome.

  • i loved them in the 90's...how did I miss this?

  • what a shitty crowd !!

  • They'll never top their first album. Not a terrible song, maybe it will be a decent album.

  • OLP was my favourite band growing up in the Canadian '90s. This song is the first one I've really felt ina while!! Also love Raine's shemagh, just like I wear on deployment

  • This song translates really well live,an amazing performance along with the rest of the set list. I hope they play this song when they come touring.

  • Is Duncan doing a falsetto or something? it's amazing...

  • @Eddymarkezz Duncan has been doing a great job with the high end harmonies!

  • Love this song

  • blows my mind. OLP forever.

Grew up listening to OLP... it's hard not to love them.

  • @fabioadias Haters gonna hate, Jeremy's hair is awesome. :D

  • I couldn't stay awake so I missed the show.....never thought to set the PVR either! Thanks for the upload!

  • Thank you for the upload, and thank you Our Lady Peace for getting back what made them so great.

    :D

  • Vøid from The Ξnvy.. :).

  • Raine's voice is spot-on. As a pretty dedicated fan, I don't have a problem admitting that sometimes he's not so on the ball, but this is basically perfect. Reminds me of the good ol' OLP days. Thanks for posting! :o)

  • @Slacktoo So excited for the rest. Thank you SO much!

  • 3:18 is an Arcade Fire riff FWIW

  • I hope they can put the Gravity and other 2 albums I forgot the name of era behind them.

  • @dannyH317 don't h8. really, there's good stuff (and some very scarce not so good stuff) in all eras of the band imo

  • front row!

  • Got here right after they got off stage due to an over 1 and a half hour trip to get into the falls. Thanks for posting this. It was the 1 song I really wanted to hear since they are imo better live than even their CD's which are amazing.
