I love how you started you dreadlocks....I been reading where ppl who started with the BIG CHOP are hating on ppl who add extension... This is tearing the natural community apart...Some ppl like me don't have any type of journey to locks..it is just a look I preferred to rock!

Black women hate so much it makes me sick, in which it tears up sisterhood....worry about your own hair and leave others alone!

@FerrariBeauti so true i started mine 3 months ago with extensions and its good length now and i am disliked for this but my hair just grows faster in extensions and easier to maintain because is very soft

@bonez1415 Girl you just tell them it is your loc...bc now it is apart of you imbedded into your locs and made them become as one! I respect any person that appreciate locs. There are so many factors related on the reason why ppl get loc extension..from Health to genes..and also they just don't want to do the BC whatever it is..I respect their decision and welcome them.

@Yardie1Diva no the hair in the braid was still relaxed so i cut some of them off...some of them locked though...just took waay longer than my natural hair...

Braids isn't a new method. It's the method that takes the longest of them all to lock, but you get better results.

In her defense, this is a technique for starting dreads for people who do not want to do the big chop!!!!! The dreads will eventually take over the braids. This is a longer and more frustrating route however.

i hate the braided method cuz it takes so dam long!! lol you must have a lot of patience... i did mine with comb coils, 2 months ago and i'd say in about another 2 months mine will prolly be locked....

you have to cut off the synthetic hair once your own hair reaches the length you want

yeah but they're the hair you use for kinky twist ,i just made then smaller...some of the braids are out and are starting to loc...some aren't cuz they're relaxed...but im gonna make an update video soon...
