Karma had her way anyway and made sure I didn't share in the festival with all the guys who were there working hard to make it a sucess. Well done for your efforts.

MANY people worked hard to make this happen from all stages, artists, and followings. And I know our following were far more happy to part with cash for this event because of it's free party feel, and out of respect for our hard work for nearly 20 years without a penny in return for our troubles. The people I was having a pop at were those that were asking to get into the Waveform Festival for free! I was a paying customer at the event and am a regular at quite a few festivals over the course of every year.

I kicked off at them with my comments because of the very reasons you feel aggrieved. I.e. all the hard work you put in only for people to try and blag their way into the festival.
OK I have to admit I read the sequence of messages wrong and apologize. In my only defense I had just got back from india (far sooner than anticipated) and had not slept properly for 4 days waiting at airports. And lack of sleeps gets me a bit cranky and quick to fire off.
erm ok, this wasn't south west fusion tent as i was crewing that tent! this was the monstrosity tent! and to get in... yes people did get in very easily! fences you can crawl under!

do you anyone that managed to get in to this festival for free. We tried to find a gap in the security but it wasn't happening. Tips would be cool if this festival comes back. Thx
This festival was put on by many crews who mostly put on events that cost nothing. Not just losing a few hundred quid, but often 10's of thousands of pounds.
It was one of the best festivals of the year IMO, and of all festivals to attempt break into this aint the one, so please show some respect next year and pay.
