Anybody know which episode it is where Tom is playing cricket on his kitchen table using two pencils and Barbara reads the names of his players from his notebook. Thank you.
No swearing, no vile, acerbic "characters" that are supposed to make you laugh, no drugs, no alcoholism, no shit. Just gentle comedy from a long lost time, probably never to be repeated. Shame really.
Richard Briers(Tom) & my Dad were separated at birth I am sure of it, they look alike and sound alike, i joke with Dad about this alot . Think it annoys him.
It's hard to imagine there was a time when people tuned in to the latest episode of the Good Life, Yes Minister, Dads Army or went to see the latest Hitchcock film.
Thats very true. There is the odd gem now and again, such as The Vicar of Dibley, but by and large, there's not shows like this. Remember, this was before the advent of Sky - only had 3 channels to choose from at this time, and I think that it is fairly safe to say that we seem to have forgone quality for quantity. Loved this - such a funny genlte series.
Great show! Paul Eddington played a great "whipped" husband before he was "the Minister." I actually never really cared for Richard Briers, but the other regulars are outstanding.
Thank you so much for all the work that must have gone into putting the entire series up on YouTube. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed every episode!
I know, i've always wondered why Fatima, and i've always thought that i missing out on some joke as , like you said, she keeps her continuity. Is it just random?
A timeless classic.

I did recognize her when I saw her as Sir's wife.

It was actually Moyra Fraser (who plays "sir's" wife who was in "As Time Goes By". She played Aunt Penny.

Are you sure Felicity was in As Time Goes By???? I watch it all the time on public broadcasting and have never seen Felicity. She is a lovely lady.
Littletink02 2 years ago
'Felicity' is the name of the character (Sirs wife), played by Moyra
Fraser. Confusing, I know

God, I loved Moyra Fraser. Why wasn't she in later episodes?

Hi, Felicity Kendal is in all 30 episodes. Same as the other three leads.
denboy300 2 years ago 3
Felicity, played by Moyra Fraser, was the actress who played 'Sir's wife. She was singing with Richard Briers at 6:28.

I agree, I loved it!

She was also in As Time Goes By with Judy Dench and Geoffrey Palmer in the 1990s.
