i love this song so much. I lost my cousin about a year ago, we were close and it hurts to know he's still not here. But i know Gods taking care of him now i miss him dearly every time i hear this song i think of him.

I was with my Army Reserve Unit from Houston, Tx(453rd Transportation) training in Camp Atterbury, Indiana. One of the sergeants use to play this every morning while we were getting dressed. the whole barracks was quiet while everyone focused on this song. well i listen to this song a few days ago while I was having some ruff times for some comfort in the time of need i posted it on my Facebook for those that might need it as well. I guess some of his music has that effect to make you think about what is going on in your life and show you that it's not as bad as you think it is. I try not to cry while listening to this but like everyone has posted it just has that effect lol : * ) he just keeps it real for his fans!!

this song alway reminds me of my god mother when she was alive she always used to say lord pass me over i never knew what she ment until she passed away and i listened to this song. My god mother was the only one who kept me from going to close to the edge so i thank GOD for being who he is and i thank GOD for blessing me with a person who did such great things for me

I played this song during my struggle with letting go of my mom who passed in 2008 of diabetes. I was sad yet the music brought a sweet spirit of endurance, love hope and faith to move forward. Thank you Anthony Hamilton.

on the day my mom friend pass me and my mom looked all around new york to find one person from his family to tell them that he was in the hospital we fond them we all got to the hospital 20 mins in he pass we was playing this song when he passed. I was with my Army Reserve Unit from Houston, Tx(453rd Transportation) training in Camp Atterbury, Indiana. One of the sergeants use to play this every morning while we were getting dressed. the whole barracks was quiet while everyone focused on this song. I wasn't able to make it over to Afghanistan with them but thank God they all made it back safe.

This is an absolutely awesome piece of music and not wishing to sound morbid, I shall have it played at my funeral because it needs to be shared with as many people as possible. The vocal is up there with the best of all-time and the whole thing just raises my spirits to the highest place. Play it as loud as you possibly can and soundbathe in it's glory.

i just recently lost my grandma this past tuesday, april 26 2011. she had cancer and she passed on and i wasnt even by her side that day. never in my life felt this pain and i will never forget her. R.I.P. grammyyyy! we all love you and miss you.
