Youre sliding too much, youre supposed to hit open A string in between of some of them. Also you have to stop the A-string, youre playing it all it one motion, while the real song goes is a very distinct rythm. Other than that it was good =)

and the second guitar plays the 3rd

Beautiful amateur cinematography, I think you have a future in it to be honest- it's really tastefully and artfully put together. Well played also.

He's in standard E tuning, but it's played by SOAD in drop C so instead of detuning his guitar every time he wants to play it he plays it in standard. It also sounds better, the original recording sounds like it has loads of buzz because the strings aren't heavy enough I guess.
