They take it slow, they don't just jump in bed and goat it like rabbits and that is why this story line is soooo believable. BUT, man I can't wait for them to kiss, I am dying here.

I was never a fan of GL, then one day I came across an Otalia clip and fell hard. What I can't figure out is why they would cancel a show with such a strong following, strong writers and great story lines. The simple fact that they would take on a story line involving religion and homosexuality and with such class and grace says a lot. Though the story line is moving to slow for me :D I love the writers approach they are taking with O and N. Two straight people fall in love.

This is the only storyline that appears well thought out. It's the only storyline on this show that I can ignore a lot of downsides to production. I can't think of 1 storyline on this show that's as maturely written. It almost seems like there are completely different writers for this show. Otalia writers and everyone else. It's jarring. But if I have to FF thru alot of the other dreck to get to Otalia I'll do it.

That's because there are two different writing teams on the show. Jill Lorie Hurst and Ellen Wheeler write the Otalia s/l. They literally read the lines back and forth to each other when they write it. Then there is David Kriezman who heads the other writing team. He should have been gone years ago. Imagine if JLH and EW were writing the entire show...it'd be amazing.

WOW... Natalia had to tear down the wall of religion with Olivia, and boy did she. Olivia was going to be a tough sell on that issue, but Nat blew her away, leaving little doubt about her feelings.

Fantastic writing. I have never before watched GL, life long AMC fan. I just started watching this because of this story line. GL has ruined AMC for me. (Not that that was hard to do!) Fantastic love story.

I am telling you the family angle is what has me soo hooked. I know I joke about them being more intimate.( it that labeled lesbian in me. lol), but the biggest draw for me is the comming to terms as a family. To me it is a huge struggle within the gay community. Haters use it as ammo and some gays and lesbians even have nicknames like; breeders, etc. I know many struggle with the right and wrong of it verses their religious upbringing. I think that church to Natalia is the one place where she NEEDS to be honest. Olivia knows that. When she tells her they are being together she means it in every sense hey are actually together, she is ready to "be together" with Olivia When she takes her hand, she looks at Emma as if to say, "This is how it's going to be...we are going to be a family now." Then, there is Olivia's cheesy smile that just makes it all perfect. She knows she has "won." Wasn't a contest though. She had it all along.

Honestly, "Frak's" attitude has totally change, I bet he didn't try to get Raef to stay... look how cold he looked when Nat was crying at the end... before she jilted him he would always be trying to show how much he "cares"... I guarantee he was a little happy that she had a little heartache. He may actually care for her but it didn't seem as if he was supportive like a fiancee or boyfriend (they haven't really "broken" it off yet) would be. He didn't try to comfort her... just a cold stare.
