Why is there so much hate going on for this movie? But I Guess its to many fans who know Spiderman well through the series and comics, that they were outraged on this movie on how different it was. I like Spiderman 3, I know it has many flaws, but its still not all bad to me. It is surely not one of the worse superhero movie sequels I've ever seen.
i think the problems with this film was that it tried to hard to please. to me many finales try to pose new challenges its like with rocky 5 they tried to hard to make it like the first one and ultimately failed. trying to give him a handful of new problems was a bad idea
I find this film to be horrible. IMO, it as a horrible plot that makes no sense, and condricts itself and ruins films 1 and 2. the CGI sucks and it doesn't fit with the comic book. Some of the things in the movie are down right stupid, and it insults my intelligence.
@GCWJCTJProductions I can see where your coming from, there's no question that the stupid moments of Spider-Man 3 are really stupid, but i didn't feel like it was a spit in the face of the other films (especially when there have been sequels that did a better job at that), but yea the NUMEROUS subplots convoluted the plot quite a bit.
I really liked Mike. As always very detailed. But i do want to ask, are you planning on doing both breaking dawn parts as soon as they come out on DVD? Again good job .
Cool review, man. Spider-Man 3 is definitely faulted, but still really entertaining. I feel that it was a nice attempt to put in all those subplots and it just resulted in all of them being cluttered and underdeveloped. I wish that the studio gave Raimi more control over it because I'm sure the film would have been better. Worst Spider-Man movie, but definitely a solid film.
@Moviefan7359 thanks, yea I think it would have been better if Sam Raimi had more control, and i agree with what you said it's still solid but definitely the worst of the Spider-Man films.
I hate Spider-Man 2, the themes of Spider-Man 2 would've Worked better on 3 and Spider-Man 3's theme would've worked so much better for the second Film
@MichaelSchomer Bronson, Anything with Bruce Campbell, Tron 1 & Legacy, Fright Night 1 and remake, Inception, Insomnia, basically anything Chris Nolan (save for the Batman Films you've reviewed, great job on those) and definitely Superman Returns and the Chris Reeves Superman Films. sorry for the long list
@garlengreen I do have Army of Darkness but i'll wait until I get the other Evil Dead films, same goes with Tron Legecy as soon as i get the original Tron i'll review both, Inception i do plan on reviewing it some day, and the other Nolan films i'll be on the lookout but currently i'm saving money so it could take a while before i review another Christopher Nolan film outside of Batman and Inception.

@MichaelSchomer I don't think it ruined them, I take that back, but it ruined the orgin story in the first film. Thats all.
