Marine Corps "Chess"

There are 2 endings to the commercial. The chess board simply symbolizes the strategy and skill it takes to wage battle. it is not simply us versus them. A black Marine and a white Marine. Obviously for recruiting but also a display of togetherness when it comes to protecting this country. I would think it an honor for the Marine Corps to choose two of its own to make such a commercial. Marines are asked to do a lot for little financial gain.

There are many posts that say this is a dorky commercial. That is okay. But, I hope everyone understands that those that say that owe their right to say such things to the men and women of the U.S. armed forces who fight for the right and freedom for such things to be said in the U.S.A.

this commercial is the third in a trilogy. First the Sword was mad. the second commercial was where the king dubbed the warrior a night. This one is where the King commisioned the night to battle for the Kingdom which is what our Marines do.

@madhippy3 It would be silly, if they were trying to recruit middle-aged men, or 27-year old grad students, but they're basically trying to appeal to men ages 15-19, during the 1980s. And for that purpose, this is an ENORMOUSLY effective commercial. One of the best I have ever seen. When we were teenagers smoking weed in the 80s, and this thing came on, we'd all stop talking in order to watch it.

although I served in the Air Force and Army National Guard,after watching this commercial many times it inspired me to write a short paranormal story.The sad part about serving our military is the whackos in Congress are secretly cutting programs that are suppose to help us veterans especially for those wounded in combat.To all of my fello vets I salute you.
