This season had so much substance, the houseguests had substance and were real, the show had substance and was real-getting people like Dr. Drew on to talk about some of the psychological aspects of a psychological game, and there were no real villains or hated people in the show, certainly not to the elevated status we have today.
@lisamaria1972 I'd have to agree. I saw BB1 and really enjoyed it. I actually really liked Karen as well, but this is painful to revisit. I don't think Karen really understood (remember, nobody had seen BB at the time) that all this WOULD go on air, etc. (I obviously cannot know this for certain). Regardless, nobody should have to deal with this in public! Dirty Laundry should remain INSIDE THE HOUSE, not out on the clothes line.
If you listen to Dr. Drew, he uses the least amount of words possible to express exactly what he sees is going on, in a way anyone without a PH.D. can understand. He doesn't use a lot of extraneous jargon or "ramble on" as some people have commented on here. He's a brilliant Doctor and has a lot of respect and care for not only his patients, but all people who are struggling with emotional or dependency issues.
wow, i loved the fuschia haired girl. now i forget her name but this season (1) and the 2 subsequent ones i watched a lot..... now i haven't seen the new ones at all..

What Karen did was in such poor taste. I feel bad for her now ex husband.
