"No formal training" Berklee gave her the school’s most prestigious award, the Presidential Scholarship to study music. The first for a bluegrass artist. From her web page.

She does "rock" though. She is great for Bluegrass.

@teakbridge101 Probably due to somebody not getting the monitors set right. If you don't get some return on instruments and vocals both, it's really hard to tell where you're at, pitch-wise, when working on stage. ;-) She's usually right on the money when she can hear herself. Sierra has a beautiful singing voice, right up there with Allison Krause and a few others.

Killer video! Very pro-looking, from a tripod-mounted camera no doubt. Decent sound too. The best GFBGF video I've seen of Sierra Hull's band so far.
