I think you can craft 2 of the same weapons to get scrap metal but you have to craft 3 scrap metal to get a reclaimed metal and 3 reclaimed to get a refined.

Ofc, you can! Double click an item in the backpack and it will take the first avaliable spot. Doubleclick an item in the crafting space and it will be moved back to it's previous position. :p
