@czxr0294 probably the most affective way to drive down the number of abortions performed in the US is to remove all abstinence education programs from the schools and give comprehensive sex ed and information and access to birth control. But by all means, keep marching and hoping the supreme court takes notice (hint: if corporate money isn't involved the supreme court doesn't care)

@PrincesseJen many schools sex ed focus mostly on abstinence. > 50% of teen pregnancies (which can often lead to abortion) are from lack of using a contraceptive. Access to and education about birth control is very limited to teenagers in the United States. News flash, people fuck. From a biological standpoint the only purpose a man has in life is to stick his penis in a woman's vagina. You can try to undo 2 billion years of evolution or you can teach birth control.

@brosephjames Most public schools sex ed does not focus on abstinence. I got sex ed in health class almost 15 years ago in middle school and they didn't say anything about abstience. Just the mechanics of sex, birth control and how to use a condom. The high sex rate in teens today in America isn't due to 2 billion years of "evolution". It's due to a media hyped "sex revloution" that started in the 50's. It was all about conditioning, desensitizing and demoralizing the masses.

@PrincesseJen there's far more openness about sex in western europe and their teen pregnancy rates are far lower. The USA has 30 abortions per 1,000. The Netherlands has 4. They also don't think the morning after pill is "murder." Humans sexually mature by 15-16, after which sexual activity is highly likely. this is biological and nothing to do with culture.
