This is positively terrifying to me... it's because once we were watching a movie (I was 6 I think) and I was too close to the screen, the sound was all the way up and so it developed a permanent phobia I think. I am scared of all Disney Home Video openings now. I can't even put on Tangled because I am terrified of that too!
this is exactly why i shall never trade my vids for dvds and is what is missing from the new disney films! i loved this as it made me know when the film was gonna start! b4 this it was talking about other films you wana buy, get popcorn, get a drink and then this comes on and its like SHUT THE FUCK UP BAMBI IS STARTING! obviously i didnt use this language at 7 but you get the idea! lol actually i still say that at 19! lol
this along with the classic look of the vids will always be betta than dvd
this is exaclty why i shall never trade my videos for the dvds!! you just dont get this anymore and its the part of watching new disney films i miss!
i loved this at it let me know when the film was about to start! before these it was talking about all the other films you wana buy, get some popcorn or whateva, get a drink, then this came on and its like SHUT THE FUCK UP BAMBI IS STARTING! obviously didnt use this sorta language at 7 but you get the idea! lol actually i still say that at 19! lol
Do you have the variant which includes a voiceover saying "Don't miss this oppertunity to collect the very best of Disney available wherever video cassettes are sold" ?
If I were in a position to make a Blu Ray of Phineas & Ferb: Across The 2nd Dimension (out of a Sky+ing of said movie), I'd include this ident at the beginning and end of the videogram!
there was another one but silenced with the videos that were comming soon passing by. i think it was at the end of the alice in wonderland vhs. if u can, could you upload it?
Oviously disney today are too dumb today to realize how much popularity they will gain again by simply reusing these intros. This on in particular, is my most cherished childhood favourite!!
@judenihal I had a version of the original (not +0.5 semitones) on my computer and in one of my videos I raised the pitch by one semitone. This sounded like the pitch ws right in between the two version I had, so I estimated.
Anyone have the variant of this ident which includes a voiceover telling us "Don't miss this oppertunity to collect the very best of Disney; available wherever video cassettes are sold"?

The Last Film in the WDHV VHS Library is The Princess Diaries (2001). It does not have the Sorcerer Mickey Intro but does have the WDHV logo printed.
