the '97 Rumble was one of the greatest, we need another huge venue to fill with this classic PPV, haven't had that since '97. the royal rumble is my favorite PPV other than of course wrestlemania and it needs to be held in a big stadium venue again. i remember those times back in the day, i was excited as hell for that years Rumble and i recorded it (like any PPV in the mid to late 90s) on VHS off of german TV and i watched it dozens of times after it first aired.
