i think the cam chain is rattiling , please get that sorted it can rub through and damage the engine .

@pattersclan the engine is just running cold, and going under its normal idle speed, thats the sound you hear. as soon as I put the choke on, the rattling is gone.

My 1978 Honda CJ360T used to eat camchains. Yours sounds pretty sweet by comparison.
