Well, if you're able to do all these without damage, maybe you should try the superhard mode that gives you only one hit point. After all, it gives you unlimited continues.
@EkajTheSwordsman To be honest, I'm no-where near as good at the stages as the bosses. Some of the stages seriously kick my ass on that difficulty. :P
As a Kid I would play certain stages over others, via the Level Select code - so what stages I find easy/hard at random at best.
Stratch that, Automation Act 1 by itself makes me want to rage-quit on that difficulty. That stage is ridiculously difficult when you only have one health.
(The Sub-Boss does not help matters. I hate that thing. :P )
well hey even if you were controlled if you found out that you were in extreme pain after a walking star just kicked your ass you wouldnt ask questions before kicking ass i guess the first boss either wasnt hurt, or he was the only CONSCIOUS boss
*Smiles* I remember this game =3 It is one of the few I used to play when I was younger [ish 19]. This and Sonic I would suppose are like Sega Classics =3
Now adays I hear Sonic runs with his rival Mario as a good friend. ^_^
[Happy about that . =3]
I wonder what Ristar is up to these days after reuniting with his dad. =o
On a PS2 it would be cool to use the little little "controller nipples" [don't ask <.< Inside joke =3] instead of the D-Pad! =D Does it le you use it instead of the D-Pad and even if not, it's good to know that it can still be played thanks to Sony! =D
@dfoLoveInfinity Yes it gives you the option of both. It has 28 Sega Genesis games on it. The first two Sonic games and the three Phantasy Stars that were released on it. I think they should have put Battletoads on it and gotten permission from Konami to put Castlevania Bloodlines.
you know, i never got the logic of the ristar bosses. Sure the first boss is quite clearly being manipulated by an alien entity, but the subsequent bosses (who are apparently also under control) express extreme dislike towards him, even when beaten and "freed"
@Dasten I dunno, in the ice boss, I think the whole big melty ice monster is the demon, and the little guy you have a snowball fight with is the native that has been taken "under control". And the mole guy, it seems the armour is the demon and the baby mole cries because he's a baby, not because he dislikes Ristar.
I think if you look into it you can see some kind of early videogame logic behind all the bosses.
You are right when you state that the Xbox360 controller isn't good for platformers. Right now it is giving me a hard time on Bionic Commando Rearmed.

if ristar smashed is head into the targets then in real world he has IQ on 00000000000001

I can't exactly tell, but are Ristar's attacks grabbing the target and smashing his head into them?
