Is Israel a Holy land? We can also ask that question when we are just at home: are my house a Holy land? We should't worship the land, we worship God. Don't create a land here in this world as your God.
As Christian, we should crucify our human flesh desires, and live by Spirit. Let us praise Him with the Truth Spirit of God and not with our flesh. Not fighting, hating, but trying to forgive, to make peace with God and all people, to love all people and praying for all people (who love us and not love us).
