  • Best...F1 intro...EVER...in the history of all time.

  • Pure petrolhead porn, obviously shot using the Stig, as some say only he has the ability to split into 5 and drive 5 F1 cars at once. All we know is, that this opening rules.

  • 5 people prefer porn to this))

  • Woooooow!

  • Will miss this amazing intro when sky broadcast everything..:-(

  • Who needs porn?

  • He Waits... That Is What He Does... >_>

  • I get goosebumps every time the tune comes on my iPod

  • How can anyone not like this. They must have hit the wrong button!

  • God bless Fleetwood Mac!

  • @ShedUser77 Hope you 'petrolheads appeciate it?! :-)

  • Sky are so tasteless bidding for Formula 1 coverage, knowing full well the BBC can never be matched.

  • I watched this with one hand...!!

  • 4 dislikes, WHO bluddy cares?!!! I say the narrator has the perfect voice for this video, the director is spot on and I LOVE the black bodied car!! AWESOME video!!

  • Di Grassi, Glock, Trulli and Maldanado disliked this video.

  • I think I just jizzed.

  • I want this man to read me a story

  • Today we need a 3D Project for see some overtakes...

F1 is Buying some Overtakes if you got someone send to us...

  • "This is the Inner world of pneumatic valve springs, of mean-effective pressure. 300 BHP per litre of displacement. The quest for the perfect 4-stroke V8 naturally aspirated precipracating engine."

    ORGASM

  • love this!

  • Indeed - f1 on the BBC BBC BBC BBC BBC. shall I repeat not on gay stupid channels like SKY TV or GAY TV. Stupid hair fragrent adverts instead of pure hardcore formula 1 racing. Bring back Murray Walker , Senna and co. I want proper f1. Not some gay ameriacan broadcaster or something. I want the bbc back. Rot the bastards at SKY TV. I want BBc rights. I want to watch schumi and lewis win more world championships on BBC THE ONE AND ONLY BBC. Was there ever a better tv channel - NO HATE SKY.

  • @TheJonox1 Be hard to bring back "those days" as Senna is dead and Murray Walker is like 90! Besides, there IS a Senna in todays F1, Bruno! And i agree, i will miss the BBC coverage, its excellent, but then again, they shouldn't really be wasting our TV licence (which every UK household must have to watch TV) money on things like this when the ratings are so low! This is the only thing i ever watch on BBC, everything else on their channels is just shite!

  • hows about a turbo charged v10

  • this is the best start theme to any program in the world

  • render time?! rofl

  • Car turns and spins for no reason...Stig is Nelson Piquet Jnr.

  • The BBC have assembled a masterful team for F1. No one else, for any sport, has the passion and feeds the excitement like Jake Humphrey and co. I hope they keep going fo ryears to come.

  • You get this whole intro talking about the cars, tech, drivers etc fully knowing what music is gonna start next.

Then the vid changes and THAT bass guitar starts playing. Class, utter class.

  • so cool f1 is

  • If I ever lose my hearing, the last thing I'll ever hear will be this at full volume :-D

  • Blatently the stig walking towards the camera

  • its all the angles, makes the cars go faster, guess what that means asses

    more risk, better to watch

  • that was sick!

  • 251/2 Hours to go!

  • still shit compared to the BTCC

  • @dafspeed wow man shut the F..k up

  • @TheMrHench your honestly saying, comentators endlessly telling you how exciting it is is good? and 1 and a half minutes into a race telling you who will win the championship if it stays like this. or someone going off and watching the saftey car for 9laps. F1 is boring, not the sports fault, its just the way its gone. it need to be stripped back. the btcc is better for a whole bunch of reasons,

  • what to fords and shit, yeah F1 way more exiting, it is a lot more life at risk kind of thing you know, dont event reply to this saying that BTCC is life risking because its driving fords, and other crap every day cars that about 5 million people would have a least one of those cars each. you got to go and get a life mate you retard, and your name is "dafspeed" why are you saying that- F1 200 mph- BTCC 100 mph. if you think F1 is shit then why are you even searching this stuff any way toy dick!

  • @TheMrHench okay so on the face of it a car doing 200mph(in parts of the track) is more dangerous than a car doing 150mph granted but when you consider a touring car is basically a family runaround convereted to race, there not exactly designed to crash at those speeds. while your F1 car is desinged from the ground up with saftey top priority. also consider touring car racing has had more recent fatalitys than F1. The fact that 5million people own a ford is the draw of the sport,

  • @TheMrHench seeing what your car is capable of. who cars if a £milllion maclaren is fastest? you cant buy one so who cares. my name is dafspeed yes, as in leyland daf vans the slowest vans ever built. F1 is shit compared to BTCC, but i think F1 is entertaining. but its nowhere near as excting as it used to be, i honestly get bored to tears watching it and frustrated by 20laps of saftey car. i was looking for the chain actualy and just because im not a major f1 fan doesnt mean i cant watch.

  • 2011 cars look shit i think f1 has gone back a step

  • @BRADFORDCITYworstFAN That is the fucking idea. to create overtaking.

  • @KimiHamilton123 ye but u still want them to go fast and ake risks

  • Over the top, but I remember watching that thinking, 'BBC, thank god you have F1 back! No more stupid Sony adverts to break up the coverage.'

  • Hey BBC. Stop wasting my licence fee on stupid intro's. Just play the track that the majority want and get to the action.

  • @suroj Hey, it's not your licence fee. It's the public and we love this intro!

  • They should have this intro every time, in 2010 they had some shit female voice talking bollocks.

This should be the intro for every race, but they only used it for Australia.

Lame. They better bring it back for 2011.

  • Jake Humphrey summed it up perfectly when we were waiting for the reveal of the theme in Australia 2009: 'What else could it have been?'

  • How do i get rid of this lump in my throat?

  • One word...... EPIC <3

  • Give's me goose bumps every time I hear this... It's an Immense Intro for a Spectacular Sport!

    I Live F1...

  • what kind a song do thei use from the 1:17 ?

  • @tenkurlyja thats the chain by fleetwood mac its about 3:04 in to it

  • @tenkurlyja Wow, Halo just pops us everywhere XD

It's the chain, as cmccabe said.

  • this is awesome

  • This intro gives me chills.

  • this guy could make women orgasm with his voice

  • @R6VIIshooter lol

  • what an awesome ad!!! cool as hell!!

  • FUJI TV to broadcast F1 in Japan should learn this. It doesn't imitate, and it learns.

  • Comment removed

  • 2009 intro was much better than 2010.

  • Wish the BBc had the WRC, that Access All Areas programme's utter trash.

  • Comment removed

  • @fiesta471 You really dont have a lot of knowledge on F1 do you? Montoya is a never was. The top 5 drivers in my opinion are Fangio, Senna, Prost, Schumacher and Mansell. Others would include Stewart, Alonso, Piquet Snr, Clark, Hakkinen, Ascari, Moss and possibly even Raikkonen. Show me just how you can put Montoya above those established legends. Montoya couldnt even complete a proper season in an under performing Mclaren.

  • @FM5KR6F2007

You don't know really, he packs power. He never uses it. But I can see it.

He's won alot in both leauges, but there is NO WAY, he could beat any of the legends.

  • @fiesta471 I think I do know actually. Massa packs power but is never given the chance to use it. Kubica is in the same boat as is Rosberg. The two red bulls are fast drivers, the mclaren drivers, even the toro rosso drivers are fast. Top drivers of all time work hard and play the long game and then reap the success. I could see Montoya had pace and he just didnt bide his time enough. If he worked harder on his car like true top drivers of all time he would have been seen as a multiple champion

  • @FM5KR6F2007 Montoya had pace, but he was one of the most impatient drivers ever. He lost at least 10 races on the first lap when he either had pole or was P2 at the start due to stupid crashes.

Even if he had stuck around, I couldn't ever see him winning a championship, he was just too impatient. One of the first things I learned in racing school was that you can't win the race on the first lap, only lose it. JPM never learned that.

  • @willski1221 Well there you go then. He didnt know what he was doing most of the time. I'd say he was one of the most over rated drivers ever.

  • @fiesta471 have you ever gone from a normal car into a froumla one car? montoya candrive both because he has driven all kinds of single seater open wheel cars. I doubt Jimmy Johnson could as he has only ever driven a box. look at what happened to richard hammond when he tried a formula renault car, he spun it, stalled it, all because he doesn't have the awareness of driving a single seater and getting it to the high revs to get it going. So Jimmy Johnson can't drive an f1 car

  • man the beeb are simply the best at this kinda stuff, well worth the fee

  • who does the voice over?!

  • Mention nascar here and I will personally hang you myself!

    /rant

Beautiful intro. This is what F1 is all about, a class above the rest

  • one of the best promo's ever. ... gives me tha SHIVERS !

  • @mchngwa63

I respect the fact that some people may like it :)

I mean not everyone likes F1.

But my opinion is that it is rubbish. Even though many people will disagree with that

  • Button and Hamilton for the win.

  • I'm not a massive F1 fan, although I take an interest in hamilton and Button...But I gotta say this is an almighty intro!

  • I orgasmed watching this

  • It's the best sport out there :-)

  • @dublindanny01 i agree with u F1 and BTCC ARE THE BEST RACING SPORTS

  • @wakkyvideogroup It does require skill, but its so damm Boringggggggg

  • @wakkyvideogroup what going round in a circle yeah must be tough

  • took me 5 seconds to search for it on youtube.

  • The greatest F1 intro there is ever!! The American Speed channel's intro is real shitty compared to this intro!

  • Song?

  • The Chain, by Fleetwood Mac. Only the bit from the end though.

  • Fleetwood Mac - The Chain

  • why did no.16 brake in the middle of no where lol

  • Cos his team told him to!!

  • @laldog

nope I don't think so, because he did not crash into a wall LOL X D

  • @ashyxt

    Ha yeah very good!

  • these are the Masters of Speed !

  • i'v loved it on the bbc, shame they appear to have spent the entire license fee on getting it

  • @whereszorro Well at least they are actually spending it on something worthwhile, if the BBC was blank during the off-season, it would make the license fee worth it.

  • Comment removed

  • Pity they didn't use the original track like in the old days!

  • im so glad this won that award last month as i dont think any video preview for any sports event has got me more pumped up than this one , JUST EPIC!

  • @Gamerpigeon What award did it win?

  • best opening ever on f1!

  • I'm that big of a fan of F1, just look to see who has won, but whether someone likeis or hates it who can deny how good The Chain suits it.

  • Too bad some of the races aren't as exciting as the intro to the program! Those new street circuits are crap

  • Fuck yous who thumbs downed this.

He's fucking 100% dead on correct.

  • @tiadaid so true theres just so lttle chance of a decent overtake

  • they really did an impressive intro sequence this time.

up there with the really good ones, like The Equalizer.

  • love it when he says se pa ra ca ting engine

    :)

  • Fighter Piolets see and feel

G-force at thousands of feet above any obstical. F1 drivers see and feel the same forces while faced with brick walls, buidings and human beings at there level, which is our level...thats earth level! These young men have a very limited space to manover.

  • fighter jets/aerobatic planes have more than twice the g-force as f1 cars..

  • Not negative G !!! In a crash an F1 driver goes through between 10 and 100 G. Robert Kubica's crash in Montreal gave him a taste of 75G. No figher piolet or aerobatic piolet sees that sort of G-force unless hes hitting the ground......in that case their usually aint much of them left to tell the tale.

  • David Purley survived a crash experiencing 179.8g. 108-0mph in 66cm....

  • fuuuck, surprised his bones didnt end up outside his body

  • Probably the strongest G loading a human being has ever survived.

  • @PassiveSmoking no, fighter jets and being on board a rocket on take-off

  • @ampthilluk A shuttle launch is 4-5g. A catapult launch in a fighter is probably a bit higher but less than 10g. The crash I was talking about as 179.8g.

  • @PassiveSmoking oh i didnt see another comment about a crash so i assumed that u were just talking about the usual g-force in F1 which is about 4g at most.

  • False!

  • i really want to know how to play this on the guitar anyone know where i can find it?

  • It's the Chain by fleetwood mac. that might help.

  • \o/

  • nascars fukin shit, people driving in fukin circles

  • LOL :)

  • @Lukedfrt2 That's all the Americans can handle. They are too fucking stupid to handle anything else more complex than an oval

  • Comment removed

  • @Lukedfrt2 well said! :-)

  • @Lukedfrt2

    Ovals actually.

    ;-)

  • idk who i want to win the championship. button's a dick, barrichello seems like a really nice guy and i'd love to have him prove to the world that f1 isn't necessarily a young man's sport.

i'm american, so i guess i'd rather an englishman win it than a brazillian.

next year though, USF1 all the way!!!

  • Brawn or McLaren to kick ass again =P

I have alot of faith in Lotus Brawn and McLaren are both german ermm..

Yeah i'll stick with Lotus, 2 British champions in a row, hat-trick for 2010

  • usf1 all the way mate :P i'd love to see an american driver/team win it, even though i know that realistically it won't happen.

  • Seems we both got our opinions... Lol. W'e'll have to wait and see then eh?

American Driver? It's possible... Anything is possible. The unexpected can make an arrival anytime lol. It would be cool to see Ken Block increase his fame going into F1

  • haha ken block an f1 driver lmao

  • Lmao why not? Sebastian Loeb is looking into going into F1, Juan Pablo Montoya moved to NASCAR...

But why not? These drivers whether they're on Dirt, Gravel or Snow... Can really just about attempt to drive anywhere...

  • haha i guess so, but sebastian loeb is much better than ken block. he even admitted it himself. besides, i don't think ken block has any desire to go into f1. he's trying his hand at real rallying next year. no doubt he has talent, but there's a big difference between stunt driving and f1.

usf1 is looking to hire nascar drivers it seems. even though i'm american, i know absolutely nothing about nascar, so i have no idea if it's a good decision or not.

  • I guess you got a point there, Nascar is pretty fast but i dont think they have a clue on what it's like to turn at 90mph cos Nascar is just round and round lol

  • i used to think the same thing, but apparently they actually race on circuits in nascar as well. i never knew that.

  • @coolerdude44 Open wheel racing is way different from touring cars. The G forces are extremely high (5G lateral in high speed corners, so high and sustained for so long that F1 drivers have necks like tree trunks from the workout their neck muscles get)

  • @DriftK13 Last American driver was Scott Speed, who totally failed to live up to his name. Still, Mario Andretti didn't do so bad when he was in F1. BTW is it just me or has youtube gone all wonky?

  • awesome video

  • Yea yea yea .. erm wat song is it .. wat song ? ..

  • The Chain by Fleetwood Mac

  • Good to hear The Chain. Excellent, excellent song.

  • lol

  • i get chills every time i watch this

  • That makes U sad & weird ! .. =S

  • having just looked myself i agree with hell5torm it is lewis hamilton

  • its hamilton, this video was made before the season began, why would they use button, if you stop it at 0.41 you can see its clearly hamilton, why would the use alonso, its the bbc

  • I believe they're talking about the guy later in the intro.

  • yea i realised that after posting the coment, the guy at 0.41 is hamilton though. and the second guy is probably just a random actor

  • Its Jenson button, look at the face shape and hair :)

  • the driver in the intro is the stig i think

  • its jenson button :)

  • Wearing a Bell helmet and Alpinestars racing suit so, Yes, it's him. you're right!

  • Its A Graphic Image Of A Man No One From F1 I've Been Sad Enough To Find Out..

  • no, stig only wears his white suit with his big white helmet.

Judging by the stance, looks like Alonso or Button

  • They made something really cool into something really lame by putting a ton of science stuff in at the start.

  • Very Nice, the streets used in this intro are like, Valencia, Singapore and Monaco...

    very good intro

  • TUNE

  • At 1:37 when his car splits into alot of cars, the original car looks like the sliver and black mclaren design that mclaren used a few years back.....

  • ashcommando only if you can, be nice if you can put subtitles in Spanish, please. Only if you can.

    Thank you.

ashcommando, solo si puedes, seria genial si pusieras subtitulos en español, por favor. Solo si puedes.

    Gracias

  • love what the bbc have done with the intro, it's immense! first time i saw the pre-intro i sat there with my mouth open at how good it was and then had a lump in my throat when the chain started.

bbc f1 coverage is streets ahead of itv's. now if only they could replace legard as commentator cos he seems out of his league. get crofty off radio 5 live

  • I was like that when i heard the chain for the first time. I think Jonathan Legard is doing a great job, he knows the ins and outs of formula one.

  • I agree about Jonathan Legard. FAR better than a certain Mr Allen.

  • legard is rubbish! well not rubbish but he shouldnt be the lead commentry brundle is alot better.

  • i luuurve f1!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah, if youlike adverts interrupting the action every few laps, which I don't.
