  • I can't switch from free transform mode to wrap mode!

  • @owenhoho - What version of Photoshop do you have? It is a feature that has been added in the past few years.

  • @RatherGrim Photoshop 7

  • @owenhoho Yeah, I don't think it was added until about CS2 or 3. Regardless, all the other steps still apply, the free transform isn't entirely necessary, it just adds a nice effect to it all.

  • @RatherGrim okay thanks :)

  • nice! :D you have got yourself another subscriber!

  • okie , wat about d layers?? cant turn them into .jpg it gets saved as .psd!!

    hElp plz

  • @AliThe19 - Go to 'File' > 'Save As' > 'Format' drop down menu > select 'JPEG (*.JPG,*.JPEG,*.JPE)'

This will save your image as a .JPEG.

  • What I Do On Photoshop Is Get Confused ON Every Photo.. I Look At Videos A Lot But Really Doesnt Help Me With Getting To Know My Photoshop :/

  • @CuteeSitez21 - Is there something in particular you would like me to address in a video?

  • Adobe photoshop is very boring tool

  • Appreciated

  • your voice is very fucking slow

  • @jurjizaydan I bet your voice isn't turning anyone on -_-

  • bo2

  • when i open two pictures in photoshop my other second picture opens in another photoshop window, can someone pls tell me how to open two pictures in same window?? please help!!!

  • @Skyz0rrr If you want to open another picture on an existing picture, It's a very simple task.

All you got to do is first open the picture you want to use as the back ground, and then go to file and at around the bottom you see an option that says "PLACE", select it and then it directs you to the file opening bin where you can select and open the picture you like... I hope that helps... :3

  • I'm not trying be a smart guy, but isn't the tattoo rotated upside down?

  • now i dont need to buy a tattoo to make ppl think im awesome on the internet! (y)

    jk

  • Hey, could any one do a dude a fave? im useless at photo shop and all i wana do is make faces look like zombies, id realy love if one of you out there has the heart and could do it for me if i send you a picture? im so sorrt to ask, i know its cheeky, i just cant do it :(

send me a message or somthing, thanks so much x x x

  • @mandy4043451 learn to do it yourself, thats what the tutorial is for. You will never learn by people doing it for you.

  • @MoDzfromGoDz Pleaaaasseeee! t'll this day i have been trying and still didnt get it i downloaded everything. my computer is jacked ... NO JOKE!

  • @mandy4043451 Then why would you look up tutorials if you did'nt have it yet? If you don't have it go get a cracked version.

  • @MoDzfromGoDz  D;

  • Would be nice if people stopped asking the guy to do it for them,

i mean... he already made a vid on how to do it yourself!

  • Could you redo this and make your voice louder? I can barely hear you.

  • Can you make me one if i send you a pic ?

  • thanks a lot mate

  • hey i really dont know how to do it.. can i send you a pic and u do it for me?

  • Thanks for this. I'm clueless when it comes to digital art, so I'm trying to pick up a little here, a little there. :)

  • @JenJW - No problem, I'm happy you found it useful! :)

  • what's the tool that you use in the 2:00? I can't find it

  • @BloodyMina666 - It's the Warp Tool. I believe it's only available in Photoshop CS3, and beyond.

  • @RatherGrim not true, I have CS2 and its an option which is available in the transform section.

  • @Trevoc2 - Sweet!

  • heey buddy thanks alot this helped heaps, preciate it :)

  • Your voice is so soothing I found it hard to concentrate.

  • @GABBYBYRNEBABEH - Why thank you. I think? ...

  • So did you get rid of the red eye on the dragon so it looks more realistic? Could you leave it in there?

  • @HBCult - Yeah you could, but you would have to remove the background with either the eraser or by using the marquee tools and deleting it, otherwise I think the red will go opaque.

  • @RatherGrim Thanks I appreciate the tip. One more question, if you're using a color tattoo would you have to use some type of gradient tool to make it look more realisti?. Or using the erase or marquee tool like you suggested for the red eye?

  • Dude, you say 'tattoo' extremely funny.

  • coolness i was able to innocently trickmy friends lol

  • very helpful thx! but please for gods sake, speak louder next time !!!

  • Awesome! Very useful! Thanks.

  • after reducin the opacity go the layer blendin options n clk soft overlay ..

    u vl gt a prfct tatuu ,

this luks grt coz the tatu here used is in blk clr,

if its green or smthin else it vl b difficult

  • @nikhilms1989 Get a dictionary, or Firefox with spell check embedded, then shoot yourself. You intentionally bastardized the English language in your post.

  • @shaunx10a ths s nt a fuckin english cls !!! .. lern som ps if u want ..

    or gt outa here !

  • i like how to took depth into consideration. you blurred the edges well but i would have rather you changed the colour to complete the realistic look because tattoo ink on body isnt exactly black, its more greenish black and because you reduced the opacity the skin tone made it more obvious..all in all, a good tut.

  • thx for the tuto mate

  • This is a pretty good idea to do before you go out and get a tatto. So if you look at it like a week or whatever after doing it and you're like "holy fuck this is ugly" you've saved money and don't have a permanant black thing on you that you hate. =P

  • thanks a lot for this tutorial man! I knew how to make tattoo but forgot and your video was exactly what i needed. Quick and simple :D

  • thanks a lot!

  • oh look at the enthusiasim lol but its a goot tutorial

  • @RatherGrim what was the tool u used at 1:48 i couldnt really tell what u were saying lol, good tutorial tho!

  • @mikachuk - Control + Spacebar + Left Click. It is the shortcut used to zoom in. Got my words mixed up a bit while saying that one :P ...

  • @RatherGrim Ctrl + and Ctrl - also zoom.

  • where did you get the fake tattoo pic from ?

  • @LilmasCheerPSP - I just Google image searched it.

  • nice tutorial...dont sweat the haters...you did a nice job!

  • what version of photoshop are you using cause i only have downloaded 7.0

  • @dinidel123 - Adobe Photoshop CS3 in this tutorial, I believe.

  • @RatherGrim how do you erase?

  • @filipinofear13 - Generally by using the eraser tool (hotkey: E) or by selecting an area and deleting it with the Delete key. Is there a point in the video you are referring to?

  • @filipinofear13 go kill yourself

  • Eraser! Noooooooooooooooo!

  • Very good job ignore the other ignorant comments talking about how you sound, the most important part is the lesson your sharing it was very cool thanks you!!!

  • @Gbooy2 - Darn, I almost forgot. This is a comical video, not an informational video! Thanks for reminding me! ...

  • @RatherGrim yeah yeah. its still a good tutorial. can you atleast talk louder then?

  • @Gbooy2 - This was made over 2 years a go. It was one of my first tutorials. Check out my later tutorials, much louder and better in general.

People rarely make something perfect the first time ...

  • f+@*%n great dude.. thanks!!!!

  • @drift86king - Thanks! I'm happy you enjoyed it!

  • Can you do like this with piercings too? Because I want to see how I look in piercings :o

  • @3PiCNESS yes you can, just take your photo, get the piercing stuff you want on you, delete all the background, so you just have the piece you want, adjust the brightness and tones so it matches the tones on your pic, cut the part that should be under your skin, maybe add some shading and you got it

  • @3PiCNESS - Well, SanMarin answered the question pretty nicely.

You can use all the same techniques taught in this video, to relatively easily apply a piercing. Have fun, if you do attempt it, and good luck!

  • easiest way xDD

  • Great tutorial thanks man

  • lol i have that photo too!! :)))

  • The Best Tutorial

  • hey i found ur tattoo logo at google!!

  • nice turorial

  • Great tutorial thanks man!

  • Thanks that multiply to get rid of the lighter colors tip came in handy.

  • omg i so need help! how do you drag the tatoo onto the body after you have cropped it??

  • haha, i got the same problem!:D

  • Make sure you have both windows visible (neither of them maximized or minimized, just have them both restored down).

Press "V" to use the dragging tool. Select the window with the tattoo in it. Drag the picture of the tattoo to the picture with your person in it. All done! :)

  • Awesome dude

  • wow thanks dude ur great

  • thats fuckin hectic brooooo thx alot

  • Awesome dude ... this is terrific !!!

  • hey guys. i was wondering do any of you guys know how to blend two layers, of exactly the same photo, but with a minor difference in it, so that the difference gets carried over onto the lower layer. What i mean is i have two photos of me, one with added tattoos and one is the original photo but with a chain. I want to make it look like the chain is over the tattoos. I'd be grateful for any advice.

  • apply a layer mask. search for it, there are plenty of vids about it here on youtube.

  • thanks a lot

  • sweeet

  • Couldn't you also use the overlay tool to make it blend in better ?? I've only been using PS for about 1 1/2 weeks now so I don't know.. I know there are a lot of ways to do things in PS.. nice tutorial.

  • i myself would prefer the overlay it will help it go with the detail of the arm but it wont always work depending on the brightness

  • If overlay is used , white color would mix with the ceolor behind ... while multiply keeps dark colors and deletes white and light color .

  • big help! thanks a lot! :-)

  • How can i contact you to learn this. I want something done. I'm willing to pay..

  • Thanks man now my mom's gonna freak out when i leave her a pic of me on her door LOL

  • is this cs3 or cs5

  • theres a cs5 (//_O)

  • good, but does not go into as much detail as ranash

  • does it work on cs3 extended ?

    god bless u ^^,

  • sure does =)

  • in stead of useing the eraser tool, why not use a mask for it ;)

can change it at all times.

  • omg! thank you so so so so much!! =]

  • where is layer properties soz im a noob a photoshop

  • 'tadu'

    haha

    nice tutorial, btw

  • nice one man

  • Thanks a Bunch!
