ok first uninstall everything that is related to itunes and quicktime player. Then install the version you want. Lets say version 8. Then it should work.

alright your not clear ive tried doing everything my fucking thing wont go in dfu mode no white screen i tried it when it was completely off and when it was on still wont work...so im restoring every 3 seconds with altering 1600s so the points of this is to get a different error message cause i did everything right and no dfu mode...no white screen like you said fucking bullshit...i threw my iphone at the wall and smashed into 3 pieces now i dont have to deal with this nig rig bullshit...gayyy

This guy is the fuk1ng boss follow his instructions. for me do wat he says but when it comes to opening itunes choose the fireware ur gonna use and wait, i mean really wait , it took time to load the firmware, i was about to give up until finally like 5-10 mins later it started workin and loading up just let it be and if 10 mins later nothin happened then try again but mine got it the first time and ive tried other jailbreak vids. but this worked for me. ps. use the ireb 2.1 i used it. THX AGAIN

and I put the iPod in DFU mode, then clicked my iPod Touch on the iReb menu

then nothing happens ;(

Yes now my phone is good. I used ireb2.1 cause 2.2 doesn't work for me but after i restored my phone i had no service so then i installed ultra snow and now i have service again.
