@masterfunkyed If you're in a frig (as I suspect you are) the most important fittings you can use are a scram, web and propulsion mod [mwd / ab.] Even if you don't have the skills to do dps, a tackle frig can be useful in any gang.

Whose Kane Rizzel?, Your Racial track is fine ( any would be fine really ), just specialize. The better you can be in a particular line of ships, the more skills at level V the better etc... Specialization is key in EVE because you can only be so good in EVE. It also makes you more attractive to the better corporations. As a new player I'd get my feet wet and understand the game a bit, then join Factional Warfare, get a grasp of PVP and then move onto pirating. Cheers. @Smehrf

Check out the eve website for more info. There aren't races/classes in EVE like there are in other MMOs. The proper answer for your question would be something like 'learn how to fly rifters' @ratbone39

@ratbone39 it has a steep learning curve...if you do the trial DO THE TUTORIAL. don't skip this vital tool. And it only teaches you a small fraction of the capabilities of this game. no matter what race you choose you can fly any ship in the game if you train for it. You choose your job..find a way to make money...spend it to go kill or die trying. Or you can mine and build :) don't remap your stats without researching what attribute effects what.
