  • he is the man.

  • I wish I could've had this man and others like him educate me as a child rather than the public school my parents sent me to. I'm still trying to get over that horrible experience ahaha.

  • I am behind you sir 100%. Lets make a brighter tomorrow.

  • Is he really 95?

    He looks 50!

  • @mikeyT1413 well he's 96 in a month. 50 seems a bit of a stretch, though.

  • The occupy movement in my eyes is not a strong enough momentum, force or have the OVER WHELMING majority of the populous of this country ACTUALLY out on the streets, walking out on jobs, leaving schooling systems, finding the army stop following orders to cause enough of a change of the current system in this country. It lacks the numbers and size to TRULY do any change. It will come down to ever block, every family in depression levels to change what we have right now in this government.

  • Jacques is dead on. Ours is a position of management of the life sustaining resources available on this planet. No one man or group of men are entitled to the use or stockpiling of resources. Our entitlement is equal because we all have a vested interest in one another based on the symbiotic relationship that exist between all life occupying this sphere. The resistance to this obvious truism is born out of the ideology and premise of ownership which is put forth by the folks who own everything.

  • I love listening to Jacque, such a sane and compassionate voice.

  • That stolen watch was a great example.

  • Thank you for posting one of Jaques greatest speeches and also for putting subtitles. I usually understand 95% of his statements. Now my understanding reached 100%.

  • Jacque Fresco is the world's best old man

  • I WANT TO HELP HIM!

  • WHAT KIND OF A HUMAN DISLIKES THESE WORDS WHAT REASON ?

  • Just wondering, are you guys making a film on this to get out to the masses? if so, how will you do it?

  • This man is incredible, truth be told: THERE ARE MUCH MORE LIKE HIM!!! THEY JUST DON'T REALIZE THIS!

  • I've watched about 3 or 4 vids J Fresco in the last hour and paused them all to have a little think and that's not unusual because listening to Jacques doesn't just teach me and point out reasoning, I get these little ideas of my own to think about and some people just seem to inspire that stuff.

  • US 'to sell 18 F16 jets to Iraq' It could be as high as 36.

...and the corrupt, sick money game continues.

I love Jacque's Venus Project. Instead of more complaints, it's an actual solution and one that is continually developed and improved upon. But how, when, where will it be implemented? We are rapidly approaching the point of no return. Any news to share about the TVP movie?

  • Love the wink.

  • It's so easy to see the clear logic in these things. It's not "concept" it's just fact and truth. So if TVP folks can come to Canada and educate us all here, I'd love that. I do my best to direct the people I encounter...could use some help! Ha!

    :-)

  • @thevenusprojectmedia Is it possible that "random challenges of the day" can be put forward for menial things that YOU GUYS would lke to get done but don't have time for? People frequent TVP media and would probably do quick menial things if there was a "challenge" or something.

  • The whole video is wonderful and I think people need to watch over and over again the following segments in the video because he is giving you the tools you need to not fuck up when discussing our current system: 05:10 - 05:17 and 01:56 - 01:58.

  • What we are all witnessing is the collapse of a system... the collapse of the world monetary and value system. His vision is the next step... the first and last step. It is up to us now to take his knowledge, and any other bits and pieces of information that we find in relation to what he is saying, and appropriate it uniquely to our own personal understandings and characteristics in order to fix the world.

  • @Josephjoel3 RIGHT ON FRIEND DO YOU KNOW HE HAS OVER 7 CAREERS ! HES 95 ! ENGINEER,ROBOTICS,ENVIROMENTLIST,SOCIAL STUDIES ,FUTURIST ETC ETC I WISH HE WAS 30 YEARS OLD WE COULD USE HIM NOW WHEN THE DARKEST HOUR B4 THE DAWN THE GOLDEN AGE

  • "PIN EM DOWN!!!"

  • Y'know, there's an Occupation going on down here in Miami, you folks should totally swing by and give the protesters there a bit of that wonderful education.

  • @Hollowchains i would like that, it's a bit of a drive for Jacque to make tho', and he'd have to do it during the week because he is tied up with the sessions on the weekend. How big is the occupy there? #'s?

  • Please keep these great Jacque Fresco talks coming.

  • @Laoch111 thanks, just posted another one, please check on this channel..

  • @thevenusprojectmedia I will do. I put the channel as an RSS feed into an RSS aggregator (Liferea) in GNU/Linux. ^_^

  • Mr Fresco has tremendous wisdom.

Great point about the Native American Indians - their land was stolen, plain and simple.

If people just think outside the box, they can see that the current systems in the world are fatally flawed.

Those that disagree with and knock him generally take his words out of context because that's all their tiny intellects can manage.

  • this man gives me hope...i love him!

  • @QuantumoftheOpera He is 1 in a million.

  • @aaronfromhastings Collective action is never a prerequisite for individual action. No matter what anyone else does, I can always quit my job, stop using money, detach from the matrix and go live in the woods. Others may decide to join, or they may not. It doesn't matter. The only difference between going it alone and doing it with others is the level of struggle in satisfactorily making such a transition. Yes, survival may be easier with greater numbers, but it's never impossible without it.

  • @aaronfromhastings [like a pyramid, you must remove nearly all of the base before the top falls. That means collective action, not individual action]

The collective represents individuals who generally follow a defined social structure. This typically results in limits & expectations on the individual, resulting in individual grievances. If a major positive shift (change) requires collective action, the resulting collective will continue to remain an unhealthy one that limits the individual.

  • @aaronfromhastings [The dynamics of re\/ol\u7ion are generally sparked by either a reprehensible action from the state which calls the collective to act, or by a single leader starting the first domino with a proactive action]

These are conditions that, rather than accentuate the individual, limit & oppress the individual. The individual is the most important unit. The collective merely follows suit. The collective should be obscure & undefined, & never stand in the way of individual autonomy.

  • @shizzleman8 the world economy is collapsing...

  • @CalvBore That's the SPIRIT! You reminded me of that line from the last starfighter. "It's going to be a SLAUGHTER!", "That's the SPIRIT". If you have large cash reserves now's the time to buy.

  • 400 with the average income of 345 million is not what's representative when saying, "The very rich pay very little taxes". There are 312,520,000 citizens. My calculator can't even show me the % of citizens that is. I never have met personally anyone who made more money than my Dad for instance.

The rich pay all the taxes is more how I'm leaning to reality. The top 5% pay more than all the rest combined or something like that. I started out as a missionary to Mexico w/out sponsors or money.

  • wiseman

  • My Dad fought in WWII and in Korea. His Navy Capt. retirement was right at $3,700 a month. They get a LOT more than just minimum wage when you factor in benefits. You're not a very exacting man. If you miscalculate your little models the way you misstate the facts I'm surpised they haven't all collapsed.

  • @shizzleman8 not everyone is a navy captain in the navy you know

  • @oniedaman2 One of the first benefits the military provides is EDUCATION and that leads to advancement in rank. It's not like these young soldiers are going from a job at Jack-in-the-Box flipping burgers at minimum wage to war! The military gives these kids skills. Have you ever seen the movie First Blood starring Sylvester Stallone as Rambo? Those young people are taught by our government how to kill and not be killed. I work for a Lt. Colonel today. She keeps me around because I'm MILITARY

  • "The very rich pay very little taxes". You should be held criminally responsible for saying that. You're inciting people to riot. If the rich stopped paying taxes the world economy would collapse in a matter of days. It would be armageddon.

I have a friend who works as an attorney for the state of California. He told me, "Dan, I've found that the more brilliant a person becomes the more stupid are the things that can come out of their mouth". Word to the wise.

  • "There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root." -- Henry David Thoreau

Thanks to Jacque and others like Roxanne, Peter Joseph and many of the presenters in the Zeitgeist films, Bill Hicks, etc. I'm beginning to see through the branches and seeking to understand and strike at the root.

  • @RewardHonesty I'm descended from 750 years of Jewish Bankers and son of one time the most decorated officer in the history of the U.S. Navy. I'll give you my address, and you can come try hacking you perverse little coward. Just because you can beat your wife and kids don't mean you can suddenly address me as anything but SIR YES SIR. I look at this piece of trash and listen to the words that come out of his mouth and it make me SICK.

  • @shizzleman8 sorry you feel so hostile but glad you're watching, it must be a stretch for someone with such an venerable lineage. You miss Fresco's real point. Facts:The average income tax for the 400 richest people with average income of $345 million was 17%, down from 26% in 1992. The super rich hire super lawyers & lobbyists to change the tax code in their favor. Maybe the system works well for you, must be nice. But if you're religious-what about "There but for the grace of god go I"?

  • @thevenusprojectmedia There for the Grace of God I go. I'm not a separate entity. We're all drops of water of the same ocean, that's been proved. The rich are taxed to death. I developed property for a few years. The school bond fees were double all my profit. My Dad made 2 million dollars a year and paid 1 million in tax. 50% is what I'm aware of. Super lawyers don't come at the bargain basement prices you're assuming either. Their fees stopped me from developing land for mobile homes.

  • @shizzleman8 it seems to me its but another example of how the system abuses almost everyone except the super wealthy. This from Warren Buffett on Sunday, August 14th, 2011 in a "New York Times" op-ed: The "mega-rich" pay about 15 percent in taxes, while the middle class "fall into the 15 percent and 25 percent income tax brackets, and then are hit with heavy payroll taxes to boot."

  • @thevenusprojectmedia The more you have the more you have to lose. "Oh, he'll never miss this car, and these other 28, he'll still have one". If you have a lot of you capital tied up in rolling stock and you have people not only stealing your vehicles but pouring sugar in your gas tank it can add up to a lot in a hurry.

People hate the rich. People don't strike out at and try and pull down people who are already face down in the gutter. The rich are taxed to death, not just by the feds.

  • @shizzleman8 Here we have the perfect example of mindlock indoctrination, this is what years of this system can do on the weak minded when strongly exposed since birth. SIR, people like you make me SICK SIR. And no one gives a fuck who you are, or who you say you are, and there's a difference. i don't know who you are, but i know what you are.

Now stop spamming you christian fool!

  • @MsQueenofBlades Do the very rich pay very little taxes? Who's paying the lion's share, the poor? I've had notes on military people who went to war and had to change the amount of interest that they were being charged. That resulted in them receiving monetary benefits which changed the wage they were receiving. None of what this fellow is saying can stand up under the slightest scrutiny. He wants to end the monetary system!? The wealthy need the police to protect them from the poor. < B.S.

  • @shizzleman8 At least you were more polite this time, despite my rude comment, sorry about that.

Proporcionally, it's the same. But given the extreme amount of money, the rich don't feel it that much. You're talking about particular cases, in general i didn't see you disagreeing with Jacque..

If the monenary system is abolished, the wealthy won't need the police to protect them anymore.

It takes months of study to fully grasp what a Resource Based system is all about. I suggest you do that.

  • @MsQueenofBlades Resources, Wall St. movie quote: He's right, I had to sell. The key to the game is capital reserves.

If you don't have enough, you can't piss in the tall weeds with the big dogs.

"All warfare is based on deception." Sun Tzu.

"If your enemy is superior, evade him."

    "If angry, irritate him."

"If equally matched, fight. And if not, split. Re-evaluate."

  • the comments on this video are way too long...come one!!!

  • I answer to a higher power dot com to help in dismantling the machines

  • I can't believe people are saying WE created the World. The World we live in was created by a long historical process.

What we have right now is institutions that function as cold, ruthless machines. Even the people who work within those machines, whether corporate, national or financial, have no power to control them:

"It's company policy" "it's the law" or "you've been told the terms and conditions". Machines that serve man are good . Machines that control man should be diamantled.

  • @aaronfromhastings [What we have right now is institutions that function as cold, ruthless machines. Even the people who work within those machines, whether corporate, national or financial, have no power to control them]

On the contrary, the workers have ALL the power. All they need to do is to stop going to work. But fear keeps them going back to work...even if it means a daily mind-numbing 2-hour commute through heavy traffic each way. Think of how much fear it takes to continue such a life.

  • @No1warp9 You talk as if their fear is not real. It is. They have real things to lose if they do not go to work. This is called being held prisoner by the system. What kind of choice is that?

The only way of exercising freedom in such a situation is collectively. You need to see the World as it is, not how you would like it to be.

You are right on one thing. The first step is to no longer be afraid. Generally speaking, this is a quality that a leader must have first. Hence people like Fresco.

  • @aaronfromhastings And how much are we losing by continuing the same lifestyle toiling away for a paycheck? By giving into fear we become our own prison-keepers. The fear is real. I didn't say it wasn't. But this fear is all-consuming. We are always free to choose...even to allow a small group to enslave us if we so desire. The collective is the very thing that is keeping this money cult thriving. The shift towards a major new path is up to (and begins with) the individual...not the collective.

  • @No1warp9 I completely agree with you, and I welcome the collapse of the top of the Pyramid, however, like a pyramid, you must remove nearly all of the base before the top falls. That means collective action, not individual action. The dynamics of re\/ol\u7ion are generally sparked by either a reprehensible action from the state which calls the collective to act, or by a single leader starting the first domino with a proactive action. That leader must be prepared to sacrifice everything.

  • The raising of fish in cages? Fish eat fish and the fish are almost gone. You can't feed fish fish, when there is no fish left. The over fishing must stop now. We are killing wildlife and ourselves with the spraying of (various) chemicals. Microwaved / preprocessed food = Poor Health / Cancer / Death. High levels of Mercury in the Oceans and in the Fish. City Water = Filtered Regurgitated Fluoridated Chemically Treated Poison. Kill the Chemicals - Save the Seeds!

  • Wuts up guys, I'm a socially conscious rapper intent on spreading this message through my music. This is one of the earlier things I wrote before I had a deeper understanding of the VP. I will be starting work on a new project soon that will go into detail in every song on a particular aspect in relation to the movement for a RBE. Enjoy, subscribe and re-post!

  • YES, Jacque, RIGHT ON THE MARK, AS USUAL...PLEASE DON'T EVER STOP SPEAKING OUT AND EDUCATING ALL W/THE TRUTH!!! LOOOOOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Why don't you speak on Wall St.?!?!?! They/we NEED ONE COMPREHENSIVE DEMAND, and THAT should be...A RESOURCE BASED ECONOMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • We have made the world in which we live.---if you like what he says read my book---it's free--The Dawn of Intelligence--search Wildman Walker's blog and click on the link 'book' under the cover picture.

  • We need to stop blaming the system/govt/power elite, because it is all of us who are to blame for even agreeing to join and participate in this global money cult. The 'system' is nothing without us & the 'power elite' are powerless without us. All 'they' can do is to continue convincing us that we need to follow them...their dream-world/cult. If there are wars, tyranny, unfair laws, social problems, etc...etc...don't blame them. Blame ourselves. Yes, they WANTED it...but WE make it possible.

  • @No1warp9

Good post sir, well done. We continue to participate in this sick, worthless, disgusting paradigm. We cannot blame the elite, who all too willingly and happily lead the sheep into their demise. We are the sheep being led, being fed horse shit and kicked and mutilated on a daily basis, instead of flocking together and throwing the elite sheep herder down the cliff.

We have nobody to blame but ourselves.

  • @No1warp9 you really believe that WE made it possible? How did I put them in a position of power? the society structure did.. NOT I or you... You and I were born into this society, which has progressed for more then a century of capitalism.. that says to be IN this society and part take of it you have to give servitude to those ALREADY in power. I didn't not place them in power but they are.. and if I fight back now I get arrested or unemployed..the game is rigged right now.

  • TVP is so far removed from the thinking of the average person we're not talking about a social or cultural revolution or two any time soon. What Fresco says is absolutely correct. Forget TVP sympathisers here for a moment and approach someone neutral. They would still find the proposed culture alien even if they made an effort to understand and realised the background thinking. Consider banking reform, this alone is going to take another 10yrs from now just to get it more-or-less right. Ctd..

  • People around the world have such a different take on the world. Firstly, in the third world much of their aspirations are to attain the wealth and prosperity of the West. Yet it is patently obvious in the West of a variety and deep number of flaws in the system. The system as we know it can't be indefinitely sustained as we know it. The emerging economies tout growth as if it were a good thing. But only for a Western model. Addressing TVP problem is very much an economics problem in my view.

  • It also seems it would be far beneficial addressing TVP to the third world and emerging economies than to the West. The pace of change in the West seems rather slow at the best of times. People don't want to move out of their comfort zones. Look how slow and conservative the govt is at passing new laws. Look at the level of bureaucracy and tonnes of work required to put them in practise. It would take a far smarter culture to integrate itself into something like TVP. That's saying alot.

  • I don't believe in an anthropocentric godhead figure, but God bless Jaque Fresco.

  • One other thing that I would like to mention is that I have a fanatical christian friend that is my age 34. He likes the Venus Project and somewhat the Zeitgeist movement but, it conflicts with his value system. There is no changing his mind about religion. Frankly, He wants a Venus Project with a Christian spin on it. I guess he wants jesus etched into the side of the buildings or something. Many Christians are like this there is no changing them. The want for a system like Jacque's is there.

  • @GreenCrooksApts that's nice to hear, thanks for sharing.

  • @GreenCrooksApts I was raised Catholic and eventually opened up to other perspectives and The Venus Project is the best of all the religions, philosophies, spirituality, etc Sometimes I'll say something like "God (insert whatever) is an ACTION word and, to me, that's what a RBE is. It's putting those high ideals in action. At 63 i've come from my head in the sands of ignorance, up my ass with ego and in the clouds w/religion, spirituality and finally my feet planted firmly on the ground. "^_^"

  • @GreenCrooksApts For me, this is an example of why Jacque says The Venus Project RBE is 1st a 'way of thinking' and changing a point of view (value system) doesn't come easy. But u planted seeds & when the ground becomes fertile, the seed will germinate. If someone is just not interested (which i have in my own family) try not 2 waste 2 much energy. It'll just give u grey hairs :) you can always try again during another conversation Love, Mamma D "^_^"

  • "Are you an atheist"? Hahaha I almost died from laughing, but I gotta try that one next time

  • Brillant

  • This is fresco selling his ideas to the dumbed down masses in the best way they can fit it to their values.

  • Recently I talked to a young guy, nice and good tempered. His main interest is contribute to his fan club of his favourite football club. They organize sometimes fights with clubs of other football club. He said to me, thats where he can express his feelings and gives his passion in. It makes me sad to know that young people need and want to identify and feel connected with other peoples and in our system they do it in that kind of way. That's where a lot of them put their energy, time etc. in..

  • @ChangeAba i know..and he's very normal. ..we don't stand a chance lol.

  • @thevenusprojectmedia Chance for change? Biedermeier or Venus Project ;) lol - Sorry for my orthographic mistakes, I am German, reading my comment again, even I discover too much of them ;)

  • @ChangeAba I agree with 99 percent of what Jacque says. Although I have to disagree with him on the sports issue. I played many sports for many years as a young boy and it was one of the few things I was rewarded for. It helped me to understand my body better than those who stagnate. Sports have real benefits to your physical health. In a competitive world sports can give you a leg up on your fellows. Maybe in a cooperative world that may be different. Football fans will not be easy to change.

  • @GreenCrooksApts competition does nothing to help the well being of people

  • @oniedaman2 it will be hard to change sports fans.

  • @GreenCrooksApts You can get physical in the gym, too... people who compete are always a bit low on self-esteem, and seek for the audiences applauses to feel worthy.

  • @laitela01 animals compete for territory and mates, I don't think the masses will ever grow out of these animalistic primal urges..

  • @GreenCrooksApts The question is, if the competition part in sports is the only way to get motivated in physical training? I think that it is very difficult, maybe nearly impossible for us to imagine how we would behave or what we would do or create in different fields without our special conditioning. We think in categories and within limits and might most of the time not aware how much we are limited in our imatination and thinking. I wonder for excample how our world would be without Freud

  • @ChangeAba It will be very hard to change people not to be competitive. After all, many people (including white people) are war like people. Often there identity is associated with how well there soldiers fought or the technology involved in fighting. Sports are a less violent way to express the competitive urges that people have without having to say go to war and kill people. I think it would be wise to include sports in the vision of any venus project. Otherwise its just a group home.

  • @GreenCrooksApts And here we are again: are their unchangeable urges in human beings or are these urges a result of our culture, upbringing, environment.Jacque's concept of the future - if I got it right - is based on the conviction that the environment shapes the people and how they behave. I think there are human needs - and some of them must be satisfied, so that a sane and healthy human being can develop.Do you think it is a human need to be competitive? Especially in a Venus Future World..

  • @ChangeAba Even the most gentle animals compete for breeding rights. Herbivores compete. Plants compete for light. Jacque competes for Youtube views. Of course competitions will have to exist other wise how will people know who will procreate? At any level there is a fighting spirit to life on this planet. Survival of the fittest...

  • @GreenCrooksApts Do you think it is a question of either/or? As I understand Jacque, he thinks, that the rule of "survival of the fittest" is strong if there is scarcity. He is convinced scarcity can be overcome by technology - by the good of it. If I have enough of everything, how much competition do I want to obtain? If everybody survives and have lots of opportunities to develop, how much does the "fittest" differ from the average or the weak. Will competition be still attractive with less..

  • Comment removed

  • @GreenCrooksApts It seems to me that you're assuming things, mainly the fact that everything is driven by competition. How do you know that Jacque is competing for youtube views? If it wasn't for youtube or some other web based video website, how would he get his message out? He obviously can't do it through mass media as it's controlled by people who don't want to see change, who likes things the way they are. Did he tell you he was competing for youtube views?

  • @blackpanther6389 what does it really matter now? I am not saying anything. I like Jacque's idea. I don't really want to argue with you about wether or not competition drives everything. I am simply saying that I think it would be too difficult to change people out of there culture of competition and into a culture of cooperation. Everyone would have to be on board and I know too many people that act like animals for you to convince me we can change. There are too many monkeys for it to work

  • @GreenCrooksApts I see what you mean. No point of giving up though. Just continue talking to people about it personally. Keep a list of all of the people who say yes if their onboard or not. Because a lot of the time when you talk to people and you make good points about the venus project, most say that it's a good idea but they don't think it would ever work out. Just ask each individual if they would personally like to see the venus project come to fruition. You may get more yes than you think

  • @GreenCrooksApts There's no need to drive out all competition, because competition is very healthy. But it's not healthy when it concerns our basic survival needs & comforts, as well as responsible use of our natural resources. This is where cooperation is imperative. While, on the other hand, competition can remain in areas of sports/athletics, games, creativity (the arts, science & technology, etc.), and so on.

  • @No1warp9 Of course No1warp9 I agree that all of our basic human needs and rights should be respected and met in the modern world. I also believe that friendly competition is healthy. I just like the physical connection i get when I get in a friendly fight or basketball game. There is nothing that replaces the need for that. Some people are just adrenaline junkies and enjoy a good scuffle. I don't see anything wrong with that if the intention is not to seriously harm your opponent.

  • @ChangeAba I don't know what the world would be like without Freud. All, I am saying is that it would take a eugenics program to breed out competitiveness in the human race. And, I don't think most people are willing to take it that far. After all it is often their competitiveness that they owe all of there material belongings. I know for me that is true. If I didn't fight I would be homeless. I am not a fighter, but I can appreciate the courage it takes to compete. it builds character.

  • @GreenCrooksApts He (Freud) and has teachings influenced very much our thinking and our conditioning etc etc. In my opinion Freud didn't find "the truth". He founded a concept of explanations and interpretations, putting togehter into a concept. The problem - in my point of view - is, that whenever a concept leaves the sceintific world and becomes a kind of ideology or worldconcept, than the exploring, questioning, inventing comes to an end. So in my point of view it is questionable if Freud

  • @GreenCrooksApts ... and his followers did us really so much good. And this is only an example for how maybe the good is the anamy of the better.... In our system trying out is nothing you are really encouraged and allowed to... I have much more thoughts about that subjects - but so far for today. Take care!

  • can you please subtitle this please, thanks.

  • @oniedaman2 i really would but i don't have the software to do that.

  • @thevenusprojectmedia i think you can do it via youtube

  • @Quiestre no you have to make an SRT file with timecode first, then you can upload it to YT

  • @thevenusprojectmedia You can you use a software called Adobe CS5. it makes automatically the timecode of the subtitle in 1 minute.

  • @rusia2018 that's great except CS5 is very expensive, i don't have it. Also i use a mac and most of the srt apps are windows based.

  • @oniedaman2 The public pays taxes...the rich don't

  • @maptlbh what does that have to do with what i said?

  • @oniedaman2 i subtitled it for u, oneida, ny style

  • @oniedaman2 You asked for subtitles and i transcribed it for you. You're welcome :)

  • I find it wierd that the wall street occupation is not on the news in the nethelands.

  • I like what Jacque said about religion, that's how I approach informing people that bring up religion. My favorite thing to say is, Tell me, if Judas stood nothing to gain would he had betrayed Jesus? I never get an answer, they just move the conversation along without addressing that comment. So, (IMO) knowing the stories of the bible can help quite a bit in relating to those who don't see the big picture. Suggestion allowing the individual to come to their own natural conclusion.

  • @DawnofTheTruth well if you look at it another way, there isn't really an individual..that's kinda ego-ish. It's all just knowledge or information, it's all "we" are, it's how "we" operate, over "time" all will get updated or evolve automatically, as long as there isn't all this ego-individual-cock block shit hindering profess.

  • @wtfpurepwned Funny thing is that this isn't the first time in history that this kind of thing happened (that people dont work togethe) After the roman empire fell the church made use of that egoism and self interest by saying if they do what the church says they will be in heaven. So the person thought: well thats a good deal for me. Now adays we have the knowledge available to know what the upsides are of working together. because by tech we are global we can change the world. just addinginfo

  • @wtfpurepwned I'm not exactly sure if you are criticizing me or what. My point really was individual experience directs the view of that one person, so suggesting another view and not imposing yours upon them just in my experience, shows that you in the moment of conversation with that person(s) shows a respect for their opinion. I understand what you mean with the egoism part hindering progress, that's why compromise is needed on both ends. To enable that in my opinion requires mutual respect.

  • @DawnofTheTruth no "disrespect", just informing and getting "pushed". you have no opinion, your opinion no is different from anyone elses

  • @wtfpurepwned ??Sounds to me like you are doing the pushing?? "No disrespect" I just detect sarcasm. Every being on this planet has an opinion and are (as every one else) entitled to them, is that what you mean? However, they all still "stink", and some more "condescending" than others, Ya? I still don't quit get your meaning though, could you elaborate a bit more for me if I'm off? At any rate, I respect your opinion of me having no opinion, that was a humbling thought, even though I disagree.

  • @DawnofTheTruth re-reading what i wrote after reading what you wrote, i also detected sarcasm, though none was consciously intended..

  • @wtfpurepwned what i meant about people having no opinion was that all that we know is learned from one another, so really we are just mimicing or reflecting , the word opinion just sounds like it's coming from a source

  • @wtfpurepwned I agree with that explanation. Within the words available to my limited knowledge that was all I could come up with to convey my thoughts. However, I do see how it could be read as an ego-testicle statement, even though It didn't occur to me that it would be read as such.

  • @DawnofTheTruth last

  • I had thought people would understand the Resource Based Economy idea quite easily..... IF they actually looked into it ... but the conditioning to believe that the capitalist system is the best thing there is and to be frightened of anything else is amazingly strong. So many people dismiss the idea or even argue against it ......without having made any serious attempt to understand it at all.

  • @peterjol It's normal to be skeptical about things that are outside of one's personal experience. Only good/working examples work, since not everyone is willing to participate in a constructive fashion.

  • @peterjol But right now hundreds of thousands are waking up to the fact that our global socio-economic system is rotten at its core. Ask people "Would it make sense for a store owner to tell customers NOT to buy his products since similar products at another store are better quality?" Everyone would say No then you simply point out that dishonesty, cut throat tactics, etc are symptoms of our economic system.

  • @peterjol People are too selfish...Just pointing out starvation in Africa and wars in other countries tells you all about INEQUALITY in world. Everything is so upside-down...wish that OWS protesters can hear, understand, and demand what Jacque is proposing.

  • @peterjol Youre exactly right, because most people are afraid of change, afraid of the repercussions from doing something different. Also once we learn to surrender our egos to share ideas , thats the beggining of REAL progress.(Quote by Jacque) :P

  • @peterjol you re so right! I m keep bumping on ppl who tells me Venus project is just communism and humanity will never change. oh gosh!

  • wow nice venus Florida

  • Looking great Jaqcue. I never get mad or sad anymore because if you understand where people are coming from and how they've been indoctinated growing up you never get upset at someone else for any other reason, other than your own expectations on how someone should act or how the world should be other than reality. Love you Jacque. Please upload as much of Jacque as possible during this transition stage that our civilization is undergoing in which we will either survive or destroy ourselves.

  • This needs as many subtitles as possible!!!

  • YES It's not Wallstreet It's the system! All the earths resources declared as a common heritage! Thank you so much for uploading this :)

  • 700 people were not arrested for marching on Wall St. They were arrested for things like vandalism, theft, and obstructing traffic. The police gave them all repeated warnings that were largely ignored.

  • @temporos were you there???

  • @temporos HAHAHAHA,HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHA,HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH,HAHAHAHHAHHA.. wait .. wait AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @lebello You can't possibly be suggesting that the protesters broke no laws or ordinances... are you?

  • @temporos broke back mountain, everything breaking, food water air free for all!

  • @temporos HHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAA... HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH... oh fuck you're hilarious kid. i guess free speech is breaking laws now a days in that shit hole country of yours eh?

  • @temporos They were not arrested for Vandalism, or theft or anything like that. They were kettled onto the bridge and then arrested for being on the bridge. So basically, they were pushed, drove towards and onto the bridge, then arrested. It was total bullshit. I watched it live, they arrested children!! You should educate yourself before speaking out sir. Who do the cops work for? Who are they protecting??

  • @temporos How should poor people behave then? Follow the orders until they get out of money or food?

  • Awesome

  • Problem >>> Solution approach...

It seems so easy to get sucked into the semantics of modern day language that a large percentage of people forget the root of a solution.

The problem is in the the face of everyone... and sometimes we have to explain a problem.. and that suffices most people's appetite satisfactorily.

The next step is the solution... Jacque Fresco gives a solution in a no bullshit manner that it is refreshing.

Not being lost in translating is strength to a confused mass.

  • I hear what he is saying but it's not realistic in this world of greed and corruption. Does anyone know of a perfect harmonious society? Because I would like to live there.

  • @ibislee "Greed and corruption" are not the natural state of the human mind, but a manifestation of the environment from which one is brought up in. If you haven't already seen Zeitgeist Moving Forward, I would highly recommend watching it. Especially the "Nature vs. Nurture" portion. It addresses this very question. Re: your other question... No, there is no "perfect harmonious society" or "utopia". TVP doesn't advocate a utopia either. Just a world that would be a helluva lot better.

  • it's too difficult to ask for spanish subs?
