The first original Barney song "Friends are Forever" sure is touching. It would be wonderful if they brought that song back and rewrote the lyrics for it. I would have wanted the arrangement to be similar to the one for the disney songs "Part of that World" and "A Whole New World".

@mponekov I think who ever recorded this had multiple episodes on one tape and that was the beginning to a different episode. So yeah this was the 1988 version but the ending was to a different 1990 episode.
