  • Can you please tell me how you made this?

  • @icthruu4evr you sound really smart,are you a dicktective ?

  • @icthruu4evr You and Elton belong together.

  • ok people its an ultralight, therefore its small

  • that is an F-16 with floats and a WV motor.

  • Not a Drifter.Drifter has wide streamlined struts.Check Drifter Videos.

  • It's a Husky, Aviat on floats with a handicam creating the videos!

  • you are an idiot if you think that is an Aviat Husky.

  • Yeah! It's an Aviat Husky on floats using a guided flotation device for remote water landings. The handicam he is using is probably a Sony VC-12 on spot check somwhere in Europe.

Come one! This is no "Challenger II" this is a Husky! You guy's do not know your aviation.... please. If you do not know aviation; then please do not comment on such a beautiful Sea going Husky, Aviat.

This was probably filmed in Europe during the Summer months too....

  • Cessna 172 is what I use to fly. If you cannot see that this is a Husky then you never flown one to date mate. Look @ the tail section..... it has floats and struts. Cessna182tpilot, sorry to make you feel bad; but you are wrong on this one mate.

Look @ the speed. It is slow and smooth just like the Husky. Bright yellow indeed!

Aviat makes great aeroplanes... just like this one mate.....)

Pardon me if I got you this fired up. It is a joke i was playing.....

  • Haaaa..... No worries mate! Will keep at'em! Sorry again for the getting you "Pissed Off" HAaa! :D

Heah! Anytime you would like to chat about Aviat, Husky's please let me know. I would some day just love to purchase one when finances allow. I have never riden in one, but I am told by some Alaskan forest rangers that it is a beautiful aircraft to fly and camp in. Is this true?

  • Yea its true, one of my favorites to fly. They are GREAT for short field takeoffs and landings.

  • F.E. Potts', Guide to Bush Flying I have read over and over again and man what a book! Here in Oregon we have the Lancair, (Now Cessna) and Glasair aviation plants to marvel over. Although, I love the Husky's! May you please include any and all websites on this page of your most interesting finds? It would be a treat.)

  • @Aonexia Looks like a Challenger II to me... I mean I am by far not an expert... but look at the tail... in the video it is edged... the husky images are with rounded tails. The cockpit is open, and there's no way it has those huge floats that a "husky" has... at least the ones found at this website: aviat's website ... it MUCH MUCH more resemble a challenger II

  • That is a "Challenger II" made by Quicksilver. A very nice "push-prop" model and fun to fly. a good buddy of mine bought one (out of the box) and assembled it in a hanger in Lincoln, Ca. It cost him $20,000.00 bucks. It was nice though with the electric start. He told me that with the right tune up, it would max out at around 110 m.p.h. I know this is accurate because one day we flew it and on final approach, we were gliding in at 80 m.p.h. at no problem and set down at 50. It flew very nicely.

  • owning a challenger I can tell ya this is not one. Its a drifter on floats.

  • Yes, that's not a challenger....

  • sorry but quicksilver does not make a challenger 2 quad city challenger does quick silver is quick silver a totaly diffrent company

  • at vw tridoieei?ú)

  • no its not a quick silver maybe a chalenger

  • This is Cayo Coco, Cuba, not Varadero :)

  • Very cool

  • does anyone know what type of plane it is?

  • Quicksilver MXLII Sport.

  • thanks!

  • These people don't know much about ultralights. This Plane is a struted drifter two seater tandam. A Quicksilver MXL 2 is a side by side. Quicksilver only made an enclosed side by side called a GT500.

  • coooool flight !!! i wonder how much one of these planes cost.. can i buy 1 for my trips?:)lol

  • those are ultra light seaplanes.

    i know a capt who has 2.

its a 2 seater.. looks like alot of fun..

  • that seems dangerous.

  • Well if an engine failed for whatever reason at least he's on a perpetual final approach and has somewhere to go (straight ahead).

  • Ill take 2 please....

  • Its Varadero, Cuba

  • u fool. it's so dam-n noisy .

  • Nice ride!, waht place is it??

  • Varadero,Cuba
