For the price these are packed with goodies and worth every penny. I use mine to run a vocoder and also through some FX pedals and it gets a pretty big sound. Try it with a Boss OC2 octave, or an Octavia....you'll get even more good sounds outta these by Xperimenting with pedals, etc. I have a few vids on here that I used the Sk1 with some pedals....feel free to check it out :)
that's"Jump" By Van Halen! I love my Casio! I got it from my late sister who passed away in 2000.I love playing my keyboard. Thanks for sharing the fun! Brainy
I never owned one of these and only found out about it last year due to being very foolish and looking up videos of Circuit Bending, Oh how I regret doing that. I absolutely love the demo song on the SK-1, it's so bloddy awesome, what do you think?
Hey! I don't know why, but this video didn't show up on my subscriptions new videos. Just found it now. I love your accent. I think I actually had that keyboard when I was younger! Not sure what happened to it though... Nice playing of Take On Me!
Thanks! YouTube has been acting screwy for me for a while now. I've been finding new comments to my videos that were posted months ago that never did show up as new comments. And yesterday it showed that I had a new personal message but it didn't show up in the inbox until about three or four hours later.
And I think you're the first person to ever tell me that they loved my accent...lol.
OK, I have 'em all except 4 and 6. I've heard 6 and it sounds very familiar, just can't place it. 4, I got no flippin' idea. The rest though, easy. Any clues?
Trying not to give away too much here, but #4 is a snippet from a movie theme and is the one from 1969. #6 is the theme from a TV show about a rich family that aired on ABC. It was also on a ROM pack.
Nicely Played there! Unfortunately, I wasn't born yet when these songs came out so I don't have a clue of what the title of each song is. But Song number 1 sounds too familiar to me. I know I heard it before but when and where, I don't know... probaly during the Super Bowl.

It's pretty good. Especially when it starts switching rhythms and instrument sounds after it plays through once.

Everyone loves the music from the Legond Of Zelda series, including myself. Best Zelda game was A Link To The Past.

I've play Ocarina Of Time, but couldn't get the swing of it, and actually didn't care much about it.

My brother and I had the same model. We got it in 1986. We had so much fun making sounds on it with our voices and cool stuff like that.

Thanks for the help. It also helps to have grown up with you, I suppose. So, for nothing, here are the answers:
1. Van Halen--Jump
2. Theme from the Legend of Zelda
3. ABC--Be Near Me
4. Theme from On Her Majesty's Secret Service
5. Tears for Fears--Head Over Heels
6. Theme from Dynasty
7. A-ha--Take On Me
lowbridgenc 3 years ago
That is correct. Enjoy your "nothing" prize.
I also updated the description to include links to the "real" songs.

I got Song 6 based on the clues, but I don't think I'd guess 4 in a million weeks.
lowbridgenc 3 years ago
Another hint on #4 is that the movie it came from is in the same series as some of the videos I've uploaded.
