All smoke and flames were funneled in 2 opposite directions through a flame trench built under the launch pad (basically north and south). @MrPerfectlogic Sorry but you've got that rather backwards. The downwash of a helicopter is VERY turbulent, while the plume of a rocket, especially in a vacuum, is very stable. Watch more helicopter videos.
People saw it on tv no other average human being has seen or witnessed a moon landing. What happened was Hollywood. A small capsule after separation from the rocket can not carry enough fuel to go and come back from earth to the moon, let alone go through the Van Allen belts with men inside. Any avionics computer hardware would have been fried.

The service module engine was used mostly to give it the final push to use a lunar free return trajectory. Many smaller rockets can reach Mars with a similar energy to reaching the moon. And as for the Van Allen belts, Neil Armstrong is still alive, so why not ask him if they were deadly?

I was wondering how the CSM appears so clean and shiny after it blasts through the EARTH'S atmosphere, which it passes through BEFORE it goes to the MOON.
I've seen photos of the Saturn V sitting on the launch pad and the forward surface of the CSM appears to be painted white. In the shot of the spacecraft orbiting the moon, it is very shiny, I was just wondering if anyone knew why.
@sparky577 Because when the Saturn V takes off, the command module and LM are covered by the boost protective cover which was custom made to fit each Command Module individually, it served to protect the CM from the rigors of launch and the jettisoning of the Launch Escape Tower. It had "blow-out" plugs over the Reaction Control Engines in the event they were needed during an abort, as well as vents, and a window over the main hatch.

They could, but it would be much harder. TLI - Trans lunar injection can only be done at certain times (afaik) and that happened to be 1969-1972 or whatever the period was, it just makes it so much easier to get to the moon. NASA sent a probe to the moon about a month or two ago.
There are other factors you have to consider, the economy, the plans (they planned to go 20(13? 14? I forgot). And the biggest thing: the need and want. Why did we go to the moon in the first place? Research.

Dude, that was debunked like years ago. Heck michael collins went through the van allen belts in gemini 10 and felt no effects. The time they spent in the radiation belts was a few hours at best which equated to less than our monthly radiation dose on earth.

Also, x10 technology? You would be amazed about the technology of 1969. We can already say Apollo 11, we can say the Boeing 747, don't forget the Concorde.
How long as the 747 been in service? From 1969, to present day. 40 Years. They changed some aspects of the cockpit and engine, but the plane design is the same.

They could, but it would be much harder. TLI - Trans lunar injection can only be done at certain times (afaik) and that happened to be 1969-1972 or whatever the period was, it just makes it so much easier to get to the moon. NASA sent a probe to the moon about a month or two ago.
There are other factors you have to consider, the economy, the plans (they planned to go 20(13? 14? I forgot). And the biggest thing: the need and want. Why did we go to the moon in the first place? Research.

@FSFchannel I work in cinematic and I can say Kubrick could have easily done the same, maybe better. I don't say it's a hoax, I believe we went on the moon. But the video are not really convincing. Also I would like to know why the flag move like if there is wind, is it solar wind, the rotation of the moon? The hoax theory will remain until someone go back and film in high definition. They say the moon is full of Helium-3, maybe it will motivate someone, there is profit to be made.

I agree, while it is questionable it is fake, it is also questionable that it is real.
the flag has been disputed so many times, and to me the most reasonable and plausible answer is perhaps it was set in motion beforehand, but yeah, it's really hard to prove it unless we go back, but i dont think that will change peoples thoughts on apollo 11, even if some of these things were proved true.
It may be something we'll never know.

the whole thing is a fake. the government HAD to be the first or else the new world order wouldnt leave us as the rulers of the new world. plus some of the shot show the invisable line that actors use to do what looks like zero-g stuff and to help them do other things. watch the full mission of them on the moon.

Over 250,000 people worldwide involved in a big scam and nobody speaks out. A gigantic mission without written documentation and tele-communication, but just by call-out. Thousands of military staff working on a fake. This kind of idea has its roots in Hollywood, not in the real world. Do some research on international scientific pages and forget about the "sceptics" for a moment as their arguments have no backup from science at all.
