  • Thank you, Taragh, for this beautiful, touching re-minder.

    Tender hugs,

    - Sue

  • I my father-in-law passed from cancer, but was fortunate enough to be taken quickly, my own dad was not so fortunate, he battled it for 2 years... the last 9 months were the worst, he became a shell of hiself and it was heartbreaking to watch him revert to being like a baby but in the body of a ravaged, depleted man...

My heart goes out to anyone suffering like that or even just getting old and losing their strength... you wnat to wrap your arms around them and hold them...

  • Your tears show, what we already know... that you are a kind, caring lady, with lots of love and compassion for other people... Many people aren't 'present' and can't or don't empathise or care about other people, they are too wrapped up in themselves..!!

The exhibition was effective if it evoked such a strong emotion in you, plus the path we're all on in this group, already embeds that sense of living life to the full and in the moment. Taragh you already embody that, in many ways.. Jaye x

  • Oh Taragh, I just got back from a walk with an old friend..he said the same thing you just did! that it is all about living (our lives), because you never know. Both of us had life threatening illnesses in the past. This conversation plus seeing your video has really changed my "vibration" to one of gratitude, and reverence. Thanks for taking us with you to the exhibitions.

    Chris

  • Thank you so much. It good to be reminded regularly to be grateful isn't it.

  • I am going to do more exhibitions. Thanks for the inspiration Taragh!

  • Yes - I enjoyed it in a way i wasn't expecting.

  • woow, Taragh that was really great video, thanks for sharing with us, yes you are right, it's about being alive, enjoying every moment while we can, sometimes we tend to forget that as we are busy with our lives and problems that don't see the beautiful things in our lives and enjoying them. thanks! Love, Sandra

  • Thank you so much Sandra. Yes, value each day, it's easy to forget sometimes isnt it.

  • I can't say much...like the others (and everyone, I suppose) I've had my brushes with death. Worst one was 5 of my friends dying in a car accident on my 17th birthday. (the a couple of suicides after that - being a teenager is hard!) I can't even count how many people I loved have died throughout my life, and I'm only 35! - I guess I've had more experience with it than some. But I LOVE that you shared this. it definitely touches you. I'd love to see that exhibit. It must have been good.

  • I looked around at other people watching and wondered if they felt like I did about it. It was so haunting and touching seeing images of people just before and just after death.

  • Taragh-i think everyone must have a time in their lives when they feel that sudden shock of mortality. I know having 4 friends die in the last 2 years all under 45 really shook me and experiencing the different ways they chose to die-as per your exhibition-was unique too. YES!!! LIVE RIGHT NOW!! Look for the great, fun, happy stuff...that's how we are all supposed to feel. I LOVED this video very much-thank-you xxx

  • Thanks Megan. Yes LIVE NOW, I so agree and sometimes need to be reminded.

  • That sounds like a great exhibition if it has that sort of impact, Taragh. I'd offer you my hanky for your eyes if I could. As my mum was a busy nurse, I used to help her all the time as a child with elderly patients and the dying but I guess I had a sense of innocence about befriending them as I'd yet to experience my own mortality. It's a great lesson to share, thank you.

  • Thanks Chris . I SO needed your hankie. Yes - it a lesson to live fully! See you soooooon!
