This was during my senior year but I was in a work release program so I didn't have to watch Channel One News that year. I think he was the last CH1 anchor to leave from my school days. Derrick Shore was my favorite because he was there throughout all my school years and I remember Sophia what's her name because I thought she was hot lol

I saw channel one in 2001 to 2003 and it was awesome then. It was a shame that here, it was only shown in Junior High and not High school. I miss the show a lot ( as stupid as it may sound) it kept me awake in homeroom and is a lot more geared towards a personal appeal then current news where it is very bland. I wish it was on TV.

I remember first watching Channel One News in 6th grade. I thought it was the best news program. There were a lot of cingular and gatorade commericals on Channel One back around 2005-07. However, after 2007, I lost interest in it, because the reporters were new and things just were not the same. By the way, Errol Barnett is one of the only reporters I can remember from Channel One.

The current Channel One News is SOO bad. last years was kinda better, but this, the 2006 season was prolly the best. they had a SET! they played MUSIC! they were incedibly interactive. Now they have talentless hosts, and crappy music...plus the stories are bogus...earlier this year they played a story that said that those who graduate highschool have less of a chance of getting cancer than those who drop out of highschool...BOGUS!

omg! i remember channel 1 news. i haven't seen it since 7th grade. i remember those gray magnavox tvs that hang from the wall infront of the classroom that showed the pledge of allegiance, morning announcements, and finally channel 1 news. by the time 8th grade rolled around the school got rid of those and install 32" zenith tvs and no more channel 1 news. i miss those days. thanx 4 posting!
