  • Nice ! I like it !

  • first time as a kid when i played mgs2 got freaked and had my mind blown by the whole idea of the patriots and cyber control then i watch through the credits and found out they all died 100 years earlier i gave up on life for a good amount of time. Then i found out they were the philosophers and called bullshit..... i wanted some weird alien shit im sure thats what we were all thinking though back then, still love the series

  • 8:03 - Describes the general public's reaction to this series.

  • @neosoc Hes talking to solidus

  • @TheAdvancedHybrid Adam, son of the sorrow

  • What is ocelots true identity? Cause in mgs the DARPA chief says something along the lines of "ocelot ... You!... Your....ahhhh!" *dies* and in mgs2 Ames says something similar * I see now.... Ocelot you... Your...uhh" *dies* so anyone who knows who he really is ends up dead, does anybody know

  • Was Ocelot talking to Brezhnev at the beginning?

  • Comment removed

  • I noticed that it's Ocelot that mostly talks at the end lol

  • @MaseyDashDisick nevermind.. mgs3 ocelot talks... mgs1.. and portable ops? idk :p

  • @eyalgracyani889 ..the storyline is actually good in part 2..just many confusing plot twist to try to grasp at first..I will message you a brief summary of mgs2, since I just completed it in the mgs hd collection...I really just hate raiden as the main character but even that reason is tied to the plot of mgs2...

  • Another phone call that has to be added here is the master miller one talking to zero in peace walker...that was shocking as much as all of these...

  • Lainr51, it was probably a person, group or company that was associated with the Patriots that helped Snake and Otacon during their tanker and plant mission in MGS2...

  • he was adam

  • it sounds like ocelot is trying to talk and jerk off at the same time during the Twin Snakes converstaion

  • Who was the "biggest contributor" that was mentioned in the MGS2 ending?

  • @iainr51 loyalty

  • "yes sir kruschchev is finished, your time has finally arrived"

Wow. Try to sound more excited than some guy ordering a pizza.

Only MGS1 on the PSX had good voice acting, I dont know why the quality of the voice acting dropped so much in the others, because many of them were the same continuous actors.... weird.

  • -'' Of course, i'm always at the CIA's disposal''

    -''Me Director..''

    Amazingggg

  • 1:24 was scary as shit lol

  • Liquid superior? Is it because he can speak 7 languages rather than 6?

  • thank you good bye....MR. PRESIENT!

ME AND MY BROTHER'S REACTION: BILL CLINTON?

  • ... solidus is the president??? -___________-

  • yess

  • somebody can explain me whats going on on MGS2 sons of liberty i couldnt play that game

  • @eyalgracyani889 who the fuck knows, dude. i just try to forget that they ever made that convoluted mess.

  • one thing makes no sence in the full story..

psycho mantis could read (almost) every`s minds, then he could i by ocelot too.

so why he never told it liquid or someone else?

he just wanted to kill many people as he can?

or because to the time in mgs1 no one tought so far like to mgs4 or the story^^

but if it was so, so what would he do? thats i`m thinking every time when i see the credits-phonecalls

    What do u think?

(i know my english is shit, i tried my best with 5years school learning xD )

  • @FreEfalliSh You were rite about the part that Psycho Mantis just want to kill as much as he can, as he told Snake about him when he died, btw Ocelot got a perfect cover just like he had during the Cold War days (triple-agent), so...even Psycho Mantis wouldnt doubt plus the fact at that time Ocelot is in the same unit with Mantis, FOXHOUND

  • @FreEfalliSh Ocelot's a master of psychology. I wouldn't be surprised if he had been capable of putting up a mental shield, or creating false thoughts and memories to fool Psycho Mantis. Hell, just look at MGS4, how he was able to mimic Liquid's personality so perfectly that even the Patriots' AIs were fooled.

  • I'd love to hear Ocelot order a pizza.

  • @BLARGHALT I LAUGHED HARD

  • @BLARGHALT "I demand a marrgherrita pizza" "Any extra topping with that?" "Yes, yes, sirr. I want mushrrrrooms and peppers" "Anything else?" "Yes, sirrr. I believe a good meal comprises of a Solid and a Liquid..."

  • @BLARGHALT I'm not sure that they'd deliver.

  • So who is Ocelot talking to in MGS3?

  • @ffrancistwiy On the first phone call I think he is talking to Breznev, I think that's his name, but he was the one who wanted to rule the USSR after Kruschev, and on the second call he is talking to the CIA director.

  • Actually, it's the KGB chief, who's name is not stated, but the real-life KGB chief during the 1960s also participated in ousting Krushchev (this is how you spell it).

  • ffs why are idiots using mgs twin snakes?? have people forgotten about mgs original?? omfg wankers

  • @TheMorrisseyMan I have no idea but I always loved the original MGS ending.

  • hey iv had the president by the balls too!

  • 'we got him by the balls' lol

  • Otacon: "They're already dead. All twelve of them."

    Snake: "When did it happen?"

Otacon: "Well, ah... about a hundred years ago."

    Snake: "What the hell..."

  • @m3dion

    A load of shit.

  • @Charmolution Uh... what?

  • @m3dion

They sort of retconned the whole Patriots being dead for a hundred years after MGS2, and instead made those 12 the Philosophers. When Otacon references this apparent retcon in MGS4, Snake responds by saying it was a load of shit.

  • @Charmolution Haha, I actually didn't know that. I've never played MGS4, so...

  • who's he talking to at the end of Portable Ops?

  • @Maniac50AE Ocelot i think

  • @Maniac50AE ocelot is speaking to major zero

  • It's brilliant how the WTF ending of MGS2 is so obviously a psych out after MGS3

  • This is 3. Why's it say 1?

  • wait a minute... if MGS was hel in 2003 then that means... oh god!! George Bush is Solidus!!

  • @DansukeTheHedgehog lol hahahahahah you made my day

  • Am i the only one that was like 100years wtf!?

  • @Squarehead29 no and i still dont fully understand it

  • @COMMcody10 They're robots.

  • Can someone explain what these ending phone calls are conveying? I played mgs3, mgs ops, mgs1, mgs2, and mgs4 and I'm still lost :(

  • t=THUMBS UP IF U THINK TTS IS GAY AND MGS1 PWNS

  • Without Ocelot, Metal Gear will suck unless Big Boss is there.

  • can someone tell me the chronological order of the games? it started in MGS3, and then...?

  • @TheBlackDirge

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

    Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops

    Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

    Metal Gear

    Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake

    Metal Gear Solid

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

  • @ForTehNguyen Is that the chronological order?

  • @quantum460

    And in MGS4...

    ...SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!

It turns out that he's working to revive Big Boss, and fulfill his dream of global conflict.

  • What a great disguise by Adamska. Seems like a beginner for Volgin, but actually a badass. Got him by the balls indeed. Makes me wonder though, is he really inexperienced in shooting his gun in the beginning or is he faking it?

  • in the twin snakes is ocelot talking to solidus?

  • @102293 He's talking to Solidus in both TTS and the original PS1 game.

  • @JohnKiller118 He only addresses the voice as Solidus in TTS. In the PS1 version, he simpily calls him 'Mr. President' in the end. Mind you, TTS was made after Sons of Liberty but, my opinion, the PS1 was better.

  • @sweenyadam actually its Solidus in the PS1 version as well

  • @McMullersAMM I know it is Solidus he's talking to in the PS1 version. All I meant was that he wasn't mentioned by name: only as 'Mr. President'. In the Twin Snakes version (because Solidus is the ebstablished character), he is called Solidus by Revolver Ocelot.

  • @sweenyadam He was mentioned as Solidus in PS1, thats what I am saying. Look it up.

  • @sweenyadam watch?v=mUm3NhJjuP4 check at 6:20.

  • why can't they have conversations like this in movie credits like when a movie makes it obvious that there will be another movie coming out later

  • Is it me or does it looks like in Portable Ops Zero got revenge against the Director of Central Intelligence for killing The Boss while at the same time of course getting to precious Philosophers Legacy

  • @Hyan36

Interesting analysis. I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case.

  • who is zero?

  • @kinganddragon he is the founder of the new ressurected version of the philosphers and the one who is resposible for the patriots ai system that rules the world, SOP and the war economy

  • So thats why Ocelot killed the DARPA Cheif they were apart of the patriots.

  • there is still maybe a peace walker conversation? =O

  • lol 5.43 ocelot's voice:D

  • gow2 rip off this hehe but it was still epic!

  • should have used the ending for mgs1

    other than that, its good!

  • Ocelot is talking with Zero at the end of PO

  • sorry I meant each of these phone calls need..

  • this call really needs a big *DUN DUN DUN!* at the end, dont you think?

  • in portable ops phone call.. it's major zero ? and in the first phone call in snake eater ocelot it's talking to who ??

  • The Director of the CIA, remember Big Boss shuned him off in President Johnsons office, then his secretary said stuff like 'we could do with somone like him!' well, thats what I get from it anyways :p

  • adamska it meins adam shalashaska that is the real name of ocelot

  • i own mgs3 2 times and i got mgs2 and mgs2 substance go skateboarding XD mgs1 rules to i had it on a disc but the ps1 cant read it anymore it really sucks so i got an emulator ^^ yay for emus mgs4 is the best but mgs1 is by far the hardest one followed up by 3 deffinatly then 2 then 4 4is easiest

  • yeah on portable ops ocelot speaks with major zero!

  • Yes.YEsssss the liquid is dead:D

  • I think the Russians believed that they had Ocelot double crossing the US on their instructions - but as Ocelot was actually in league with the US despite appearing to have defected, he was therefore 'triple crossing' the USSR.

  • mgs2 had the scariest ending before

    mgs3 and 4 came out

  • MGS4 had a scary phone call? Where?

  • i mean since mgs3 and 4 came out the ending phone call at mgs2 became clear

  • Comment removed

  • I love the voice of the young Ocelot.

  • yup

  • E.E who worked for the PATRIOTS.

  • Ocelot must have done a lot of smoking between MGS3 and MGS1...

  • LOL

  • lol XD

  • @Kev95682 His voice was smoother in the original MGS.

The actors tended to over-act or under-act after MGS. In Zimmerman's case it was over-acting

  • @Kev95682 That's about 40 years.

  • Wait, Wait, Wait... Ocelot is Adam, he Triple-Crossed, America only got half of the Philosipher's legacy? And... Argh, this is too Confusing!

  • no ocelot was secretly working for the CIA and infiltrated the GRU ranks in order to steal the legacy and reaturn it to the US in portable ops he steals the remaining half from the director of the CIA and is speaking to major zero saying he want big boss to join them in in creating the patriots he then he and eva double cross zero in order to fulfill the boss's dream witch was being trampled by zero who founded the patriots and eliminates all the original members 1 by 1

  • That was the best summary I have ever read lol

  • thnk u

  • I have to say Part 3's ending call left me a little curious, i stumbled around remembering what happened then after a few minutes of wondering what Ocelot said, i just started playing part 3 from the beginning again

  • i''l try to answer some stuff

regarding Foxdie i believe Ocelot was stating that Snake should die soon of Foxdie (which doesn't happan due to Snake having just enough of a genetic difference from Liquid to not be affected) and i believe he was talking about keeping Naomi under survailance not Meryl. the entity of "Liquid Ocelot" eventually busts Naomi out of prison.

that's just my two sense. i think i'm right but i might of missed a few facts

  • my head hurts

  • in mgs2, what do they mean by " there was a name on it, it was one of our biggist contributors." its kinda confusing to me, and also the patriots started in the 70's. how could they die a hundred years ago? some one please tell me

  • At the end of MGS2, they had obtained information on the identity of the 12 members of the Wiseman's Committee, the Patriots. According to the data, one of the members of the Patriots was a contributor (payed money to help keep in operation) of Philanthropy, the anti-Metal Gear organization Snake and Otacon were in. It is never stated, but it is implied their activities were also part of the Patriot's plans.

  • The Patriots being 'dead for 100 years' was the twist of MGS2. The later games- namely MGS3- was to answer this twist. The data they received was essentially fake. It did not have the identities of the Patriots. Instead, it was the information on the 12 members of the Philosophers, the group that preceded the Patriots that died out in the 1930s.

  • Essentially, the Patriots were using everyone in MGS2. They gave them the identities of the Philosophers and passed these identities off as the current Patriots, and one of these long-dead members was a cover to fund Philanthropy and further their agenda.

  • ya, in mgs2 it was prety much a giant simulation for the s3 plan, a larg set up prety much

  • All my characters in MPO hav complete s3 status, ya.

  • snake:what the hell..

  • MGS2's phonecall was my favourtie simply because of Snakes reaction.

  • these only make sense if you have played mgs4

  • the ending phone calls always leave me thinking

  • o i love the supense the ending of mgs3 gives

  • How does Vamp know Snake?

  • In MGS2 when he's about to kill him? He apparently recognized Solidus' smell from him. After all, they both are clones of same person.

  • 8:08 When Happened That?

  • You mean the 12 people dying 100 years ago? Those are the original Philosophers; the founding members actually. Basically the Patriots are trying to hide their origin, so they gave Snake and Otacon that info.

  • 3:35 was just awesome

  • ocelot is ADAM.does this means that his mission was to help snake or not??????

  • Yeh, Ocelot was working for the US all along, he used Big Boss to get the legacy for the US, and if that ment helping him then he did, examples include letting him escape at the Sewers and helping Big Boss when he fought Volgin in Grozny Grad.

  • actually when i herd that i was very surprissed because ocelot had tried many times to kill snake.for example what would have happened if he had shot him by mistake at the sewers????as i know they were not in collusion...

  • A measure of how gd Ocelot is at his job. An example could be when Volgin told Ocelot to kill BB, Ocelot refused and left. Why did he leave - so that Volgin could focus on just killing BB, not on what Ocelot was doing, leaving Ocelot with a chance to steal the real Legacy from GG (EVA stole the fake from BB, got it from The Boss who got it from Volgin) - I didn't say BB and Ocelot were partners, just that BB was a unknowing puppet Ocelot used to his own ends. Thats my theory anyways.

  • so you mean that EVA stole nothing but a fake legacy from the undergroynd vault of GG and ocelot stole the real one then???maybe so...i have one more question:at the final cutscene we learn that it was boss' mission to locate the legacy.but it was her mission or ocelot's to steal it????

  • Yeah, pretty much - If you had millions of dollars in a microfilm, would you keep it in a vault acessable to about 10-15 people who know the code lol ! And The Boss' mission was to locate the legacy and die as a "traitor" at the hands of Big Boss, therefore proving the US' wasn't involved in Volgin's Nuke Attack during the Virteous Mission, Ocelot's mission was to steal the real Legacy, bring it back to the US along with anything else that might prove useful (METAL GEAR !). Again, just my POV.

  • basically the boss' mission was not to die from the very beginning.but after volgin's attack the usa decided so order to prove it's innocence

  • knowing this kinda makes it sad for volgin since he was being betrayed by everyone who were suppose to be his "comrades"

  • who's that talking?

  • I always get chills when I watch these...

  • he's talking to Zero on portable ops!

  • holy shit big boss helped roy campbell back in mgspo to get out so therefriendsholy shit where wasi when i looked at that game!

  • wait, was ocelot on all of those phone call.

  • yup he is the one who started metal gear!

  • and what about mgs 2 that was ocelot :O

  • yup there all ocelot when he has long hair except for the snake and otacon one that just messed up the ending for not having ocelot

  • its like he says on the tanker in mgs2 "i came to take it back"

  • Ocelot is the child of the Boss and The Sorrow.

  • @HittokiriBattousai17 Where do you find that out? I shitted brick when i heard that :(

  • @xxk3v1nxx Its all in the Metal Gear Solid Database, wich has every date about history, weapons, people, everything from MGX to MGS4. You can downloaded for free on PSstore and it explains all the important things like The true creation of the Patriots, Ocelots ultimate goal, story of Raiden after MGS2 and more shit from Big Boss times, its really cool.

In Ocelots data they explain that he was born in a WWII battlefield, on Omaha Beach, been Joy (Boss) and Sorrow his parents.

  • @HittokiriBattousai17 really was e the son of sorrow and boss...becuz Ive beaten 1 to 3 just not 4

  • @COMMcody10 He is, download MGS Gaudi on PS3 Store.

  • The best convo is the MGS3 one, it shows you Ocelot wasn't just being constantly owned by everyone but could play them just as he did in his later life.

  • lol, Snakes all like, "Dude,WTFING HELL?!"

  • see cambell didnt wanna tell him why they wouldnt give the remains of BB, meaning he knew BB was alive or that hes a Patriot!!!!...

The president Solidus didnt wanna give away the remains because he ..what!?? in mgs2 he was tryin to get a list of them so he can kill them fulfilling his fathers dreams!!!

    and and

    WHAT!!!

  • Not to mention Big Boss help Campbell way back when, so another reason was because he didn't want to give up his old friend.

  • wow i just typed in MGS SERIES on wikipedia

shit load of never ending links

AGH TOOO...MUCH...INFORMATION OF MGS! SO MANY PLOT TWISTS AND SECRETS! HEAD..GOING TO... EX-

    BOOOM SPLAT BLOOD

  • who is he talking to in the beginning of mgs3 call

  • The head of the KGB, I guess

  • who is the one from portable OPS phone call???

  • MGS3: Ocelot to the director of the CIA

MGS PORTABLE OPS: Ocelot to Major zero

MGS1: OCELOT TO SOLIDUS SNAKE(former US pres)

    MGS2: Otacon to Solid Snake

  • ocelot is talking to major zero? i thought zero was on the "good side"

  • well, remember zero was the one who started the patriots. Big boss and zero tried to keep the bosses legend by creating the patriots. But in the end, both of them were wrong. They created a world that resulted in chaos. Only did Solid Snake know what the Boss really wanted. same with Big Boss at the end. Wanna know what happened to zero at the very end?

  • actually if that is in mgs ops then idk because i didnt play that game but if it is mention in mgs3 then ill check

  • watching all of these ending phone calls does clear up a lot of confusion for me

  • Awesome video!!!

  • how do i activate that codec conversation at the end when snake is talkin to campbell ???

  • LOL

  • Posted that twice, by mistake..lol

  • Still getting Goosebumps @ 8:00

  • So is it correct to assume that at the begginning of this call (as soon as this clip starts) Ocelot is speaking to the strategist, who it seems is Major Zero, and then he subsequently phones the DCI?

  • So is it correct to assume that at the begginning of this call (as soon as this clip starts) Ocelot is speaking to the strategist, who it seems is Major Zero, and then he subsequently phones the DCI?

  • No, he's talking to some random russian political figure. He was still playing the part of a russian major after the events of MGS3.

And cool to see that MGS1 clip. I had completely forgot about that...they couldn't give any remains because he was still walking around.

  • i think he's talking specifically to brezhnev, kruschevs real successor and the supposed supporter of volgin. and yeah i dont really understand the importance of it being the DCI... the music indicates its a huge reveal but it has no significance at least to me... please enlighten me!

  • mgs2 had the only moment tha
