If your foot is truly broken then you need a boot or cast because if you don stabilize it and keep it straight and protected the bones will heal incorrectly by you not going to the doctor and getting a real brace for your foot your basically screwing yourself over, you

the best way to get accents is to spend time around people who have the one you're going for. you're missing the subtleties and interpreting accents instead of becoming them. a little less "y" sound in your "that's" and similar words. it's also best to pick a region and go with that because southern accents vary. what you're doing now is closer to east Tennessee than the Louisiana i suspect you're going for. keep pushing youself.
