@SonicAfroNinja I was 5 yr instrumental music major and have to disagree. Sax is-was my main instrument but I play all woodwinds. Fingering is much less complicated on sax than clarinet.. I`ve been playing them all since 1968

Then how do explain the fact that he's so damn amazing? Trust me on this one, but I'm sure that guy could sound "good" if he wanted. Especially in the free-jazzy style that the World Sax Quartet specializes in, it's more often about creating sound and emotion through the instrument than it is about being perfectly in tune. If you'd like to learn more, try listening to some Ornette Coleman.

Hamiet Bluiett (baritonist) uses a 1926 Chu Berry Conn bari sax with Ria mpc, Oliver Lake uses a Selmer alto sax with Ria metal mpc, the second alto is a King super 20, James Carter play a Reference 54. Julius Hemphill founder the WSQ, since 1976 in New Orleans.Julius passed away in april 1995.
