See, I don't understand why we (the UK) didn't just buy two aircraft carriers from you guys, they're immense. Instead, we're spending more on lesser ships, which will still be big, but will have cost so much more and be less flexible.

@edj66 Good point, these ships are huge, probably would av cost a lot less than designing our own and the ships would av been combat ready immediately instead of havin no carriers for 10 years, but maybe the US did'nt want to sell any of them..

Congrats, a good vid, good stirring stuff. But seriously, just for a moment. The world seems to be morphing fast these days, even as we speak. The West seems in decline .. being white-anted by a number of factors. Eg .. the 2nd & 3rd rate nations of the EU .. like Greece, Turkey, & anything east of Germany .. seem to be sucking the 1st-rate western world under. China is in ascendancy, bad news. The influx of 3rd rate, 3rd world migrants into western nations is destroying the parent cultures.

Wow.. I've only ever been on an Essex class CV and it was HUGE.. you could easily get lost below deck.

You could easily put an Essex class inside one of these and have lots of room left over...amazing

@SuperboyConnerKent I hear you, and I can relate. "Pride goeth before a fall" is a quote from the Holy Bible; it's true. It's referring to the pride that exalts itself arrogantly. Greenwood is singing about the pride that believes and feels right about something/somewhere, which is just and good.

Simply put, "pride" has more than one definition. I just watched some of your vids - keep up the good work and you should feel that same pride. You're right: I'm plain lucky to be born in a free land.
