@babywhitedove - because the dogs never grow up in this game, they are always puppies. and two puppies can't have another puppy themselves.. make sense lol? and besides i've had a boy and a girl dog together for 3-4 years (in the same room) and they have never mated or whatever :). @xXxNintendoLooverxXx on the nintendogs + cats you can kinda breed your dog but its not really breeding them cause first dog i ever got golden retreiver then got my new one which was a beagle and went to get a cat but saw a mix between a golden retreiver and beagle kinda thing like looked like a golden retreiver and the colors were exactly like a beagle so i guess u can kinda mix them sorta thing XD

i try to treat my nintendogs like real dogs i take them out for a walk and let them potty and i teach them obedience and feed them 2 or 3 times a day or sometimes if i'm sleepy i think only once a day

Okay, this is what I do.

1. Pick a VERY GOOD DOG, Make it your favorite. (Youll see why later.) Spend Lots of Time with it, train it very well, take it to lots of competiotions. Pamper It, Make sure it almost never is traded in to the Dog Hotel.

2. After a few months, buy another dog. Dont have much of a strong bond with this dog.

3. If you loved your favorite dog enough, one day, maybe 1 or 2 years later, you will get the Promise Ring and Gold Bar! (i got both of tem on the same walk)

i have the lucky collar and have three dogs over two thousand dollars all of my dogs do great in agility trails and they are very smart i taught them all shake,rollover,lie down,sit,,jump,and i'm working on beggeing. i also have like 4567 trainor points! i unlocked two dogs the cavalierk.c spaniel and the shetland sheepdog all in four days! no lie i spend like my whole day on that game! so much fun.....
