Not a competition. Obviously DFO. Those games don't even compare.. not enough content. DFO has been around for years and still is hugely successful. Its a truly amazing game. If there was no stress bar, I'd forget what outside was.

The bad graphics ARE a big part of the catch of this game. It's nostalgic and Guilty Gear -like. Some people just love that. I mean, come on, mario looks like shit too, you know? But it's f***ing awesome for some reason. And Counter Strike 1.6 - the engine is the crappiest i've seen but millions of people play it. If you wanna show off your PC specs just go play Crysis or something. Though I'm not saying Crysis is bad. It's different for everyone but there are so many ignorant assholes...

Yeah. I'm not disagreeing with you, but when mario came out, it was pretty much the "bomb" back then. Older people today now seem to respond kindly to classical graphics like this, because their time had terrible graphics. and yes, it does look awesome.

oO To me , close to realistic graphics doesnt mean good graphics and anime style doesnt mean bad graphics lol. Personally, i believe good graphic means the completion of drawing including their actions, moving and frames :]

but the market point of this game is selling 2D fighting but not just graphics like perfect world and the rest of the similar type of common 3D games :]

Only people who've played this game long enough would know how fucking difficult and hardcore it is.

I used to play GGXX, SC2, Tekken series at tourneys, and I've played this game for couple years, I have a lvl60 Striker...

And I guaratee you this game at upper end with PvP against higher end players = insane shit.

They even had a Japan vs. Korea tourney a year ago...

Sick game, and this is coming from a veteran fighting game gamer. ( of course I'm korean... :P)

Well the graphics do look a little well... not updated or whatever.

But than again there must be a reason this game has done so well in Korea.
