Awsome video buddy i'm a Gear freak my self and get my gear cheap ( Cheap = have a Lots of crap) and i needed a Organisations system and i think i go with yours Drow system there that looks awsome
that's a lot of stuff. i am a noob at backpacking and wish to do more but my local club only has like 5 people and they do different stuff like kayaking and skiing when possible.
If you want a really compact fly rod you could try a Greys Missionary 6, just google greys fly fishing and you'll get the site. My mate bought one as a spare rod for a trip to New Zealand and then sold it to me as he didn't use it. He found it a bit soft but I find it great for trout fishing on the hill lochs up here in the north of Scotland. Also I can never show this video to my wife, you are a LOT tidier than I am with my gear. All the best. Chroobs.
i use giant blue boxes i got at walmart for my stuff. i hang my sleeping bags in the closet and put my pads in there too but the other junk like backpacks and other stuff go in giant blue boxes. it works great. and i also use shoe boxes to put all of my little stuff in like knives, first aid and toiletries stuff.
Damn man, I have to say that YOU are thee man lol. Great Concept with the closet and storage, I never even contemplated on doing what you have done. All I gotta say is that my ass is in diseray and you have shown me the way. Thanks bro!!! Keep on with the helpful vids man.
Gives a GREAT perspective, not just on what you have, but what I have in comparison. I paused and searched online for stats to compare things. This was just a great video. Thanks a BUNCH! I also just tried my own tea light stove today. 19 degrees and still boiled 2 cups of water in an REI titanium 1.3 ltr pot, in about 11 minutes or so... but time is of no matter to me... relaxing and being patient is. Thanks for the ideas.
try carrieing the SOG Sealpup , its actually a great knife. A sheath knife is one of those must haves that modern hikers seem to think is unnecessary but is vital to survival in a wilderness emergency.
Its a shame to see such a good blade left in the drawer on trips
Wow, dude you are organized!! I don't have the room for a sports closet so I hang my bags in the closet and put all my gear in my main backpack and hang it too... but you are giving me ideas!!!
Stolen slippers? I would never have thought you to be a thief! Im just kidding, Great vid I enjoyed seeing all the items you have even gave me some ideas on how to store some of my gear as well.
Great vids as always. New n 2 backpacking getting supplies to go next year. Ur videos have been helpful. Thnx again.

I'm hoping for your help on an alcohol stove collection. I am deciding between a minibull BIOS and "as listed on your website" your favorite Supercat.
Can you provide any insight between the two?
matthewjamesroberts 2 years ago
If you need more fuel capacity, the BIOS is probably a better option--especially if you want to boil more than 2 cups of water.

What rivers do you fish mostly? Anyone with that much gear must live in a cool place.

I live in Denver so I fish a lot of the small lakes and streams in the Colorado high country. Lot's of Rainbows, Browns, and Cuttthroats.
