Yeah, today they don't make game like this. I also like other space games; Starlancer, Darkstar One an X-Series and i'm waiting for upcoming X-Rebirth game, but i don't have a hope for exciting scenario plot, dialogues and story like this one in Freelancer game.

Note: this video was maked on game with some of big mod installed on it , which one of function was to make game harder, that's why this 1st mission battle is so long ;P

Loved this thing - it was easy, but also so relaxing. Explore the galaxy, download and buy new ships. Fighting against time to bring perishing illigal refugees from a pirate planet to one of the core planets....memories

I love how they call in battleships to take care of 5 fighters. The mission's boring, but the cinematic is fun.

The first mission isnt as fun as multiplayer or the other missions. Remember that the most fun is in the actual game, and this can be played in the trial.

actually, the only problem with the unmodded freelancer apart from the no open sp starting option is the nomads. Once you've done the single player, you can only fight a few nomad fighters in a handful of systems. No huge pink glowing battleships
