I am a bass trombonist, and to me that is @$#% high. You should make an arrangement for two tenor trombones and a bass trombone (it will have better chord balance). Just a suggestion.

It is hard to tell as the ledger lines are blurry. Looks like Super D (D5). Perfectly playable. Any good trombonist can play from around Pedal C (C1) to Super F (F5).

The problem with your comment. The Normal 'straight' tenor trombones, with no F-attachment, Professional players may play from the pedal F to pedal Bb, have to miss out B natural, C, C sharp, D, and then can play that low E, upwards to that Double-high F. The reason they miss out those four notes, is because it is impossible to physically play those notes on a tenor trmbone without the F-attachment. You may be able to 'fake' the notes, but theydo sound awful and are very hard to get in tune.

ya its pretty average when you practice, i can play in the trumpet range and i can mostly play higher than most trumpets in my band. as sad as that is.

very nice arnagement, but for advice, when i write my trombone trio's i try to keep it at high-school level, and try to write in a trombones range, not trumpet =P but good job with it

Thanks For Comment,But Ithink a High D is in The Range of an Avg Tbone,and you dont need a professionl to play it,im in the 8th Grade(Jr,High) and ive Just Aced My High C,My other Friend(the that plays the first part),is in 11th grade and playes the High D easly,so i think its avg.Btw,One Of my Friends in the orcheastra can reach an F Higher then the one Showen in the vid!

yeah, its not that hard to hit notes that high my point was really that unless you have really refined your doubles it would be hard to hit those notes in context and with a good sound. But i really like your trio and hope you make more, i myself also play with an orchestra as principle trombone and i have refined my doubles but it took a while before it was possible to play them where it sounds like any other note (no strain and in context)

@PizzaPayYan101 you did a great job arranging it; however, the average player normally doesn't have that type of range. since you do, that is great. If you wrote that for yourself, fine. just now that the average player wont be able to handle it. good job, though. i played trombone from 6th grade throughout college. i will be 40 this year. trying to get back on GOOD playing condition, myself.
