i have a question, some1 may be able to answer, where was Theocales from, my first guess is Germania, hes big blonde, and sllightly disfigured, and there are stories of some germanic people disfiguring there babies after birth, but there is a bit of wat sounds like bagpipes on his entry which hints toward brittania, however brittania was a distant land spoken of in wispers at the time and wasnt due to be discovered for maybe 20 or so years after the death of Spartacus, so wat is he?

Theokoles became a Nomad and joined some pirates and merchants, who branded him with the flames tattoo you see on his left arm. He also fights out of his own free will as a Gladiator, like Varro.

Also, if you watch 300 and scrutinize some of the soldiers hair-do's, ie, Stelios. You'll see that the producers of Spartacus imitated that hair style on Theokoles and other characters (long streaks of hair down the sides). A large portion of Spartacus is taken from the 300 motion picture (slow motion battle scenes).

Many Spartans and Greek soldiers also wore the French Braids hairstyle.
