Well again you can make an argument about regular season competition in the Big East. But when it comes to the bowl games....He beat quality four years in a row.

He was screwed out of Heisman consideration because he played for WVU in the Big East.

Stat's, Competition, Eyeball test, On field results.

Thus fare Pat wins all four. Again though we will see how Denard progresses.

@pager304 Ok... lets take a look. Michigan offense is ranked 3rd in the nation. Our running backs suck... This means virtually all of our offense is centered around Denard Robinson... The defense is last in the ENTIRE NCAA. They suck. This is the worst defense in Michigan history. There isn't a football player on the planet (including pros) that could make this team win. Denard >> Pat White. It's so obvious. It's not even close. He is leaps and bounds better.

1) Everyone plays cupcakes throughout the year. There isn't a team in the nation that doesn't, thus this point is entirely moot.

2) Wisconsin - Denard was 16/25 for 239 yrds passing, 2 TDs and 1 pick. He rushed for 121 yrds and another 2 TDs. What was that you were saying? completely shut down? Against Wiscy, Pryor was 14/28 for 156 yrds passing, 0 TDs and 1 pick. He rushed for 56 yrds.

@MoTOwN2014 I advise you to search: "Michigan offense vs Wisconsin every snap" on youtube. It is cut brilliantly to show every offensive play Michigan had in that game in sequence. It doesn't take that long to get threw and you can see that Denard played great and his receivers dropped numerous passes that were perfectly thrown in the first half which is why we failed to put points on the board. Also, the field goal kicker is terrible. Our defense couldn't stop anything that game either.

1) Michigan State. 1 TD, 3 INT, 86 rushing yards

2) Iowa 96 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

3) Purdue (barely mediocre) 1 TD, 2 INT, 68 rushing yards

who have his good stats come against? uconn, massachusetts, bowling green, notre dame, illinois, indiana, and penn state. of those teams, the only one with a shot at a BCS is uconn.

You conveniently left out the 215 passing yards in the Michigan State game, You left out that Denard was 13/18 passing in the Iowa game and ran the ball for 105 yards while only playing one half of the game due to injury. The Purdue game had HORRIBLE field conditions.

Yeah... and Wisconsin (as you admitted here) "ill give you i was wrong about wisconsin" and against Iowa where you left out he only played for a half of the game yet was still able to rush for 100+ yards and throw with 72% accuracy for 18 attempts that went for nearly 100 yards. This is ONE HALF of a game.

Denard Robinson is better than Pat White and he is only a sophomore. Pat White was a product of a superior offensive scheme and coach in Rich Rodrigueze as well as playing cupcakes in the Big East to pad his stats. That is the only logical explanation. He was good. WVU was good. In 2007 I would say they were great, but it wasn't due to Pat White. It was the coaching, the scheme, and the way they played as a team. Like I said, Denard is better as a true sophomore.

@ThoseWhoStayUofM That remains to be seen. White thus far has accomplished more then Denard. I think there are three main problems. 1. Defense....WVU had a better defense. 2. A home running hitting all world running back.....WVU had Slaton and Noel. 3. Competition..........The Big East is not the Big 10.

I will say THUS far Pat White > DRob, The only reason is because Pat is a proven winner and accomplished a lot in college. We still have to see what Denard can do overall.

2006 Sugar Bowl BCS - 38–35 win against Georgia

2007 Gator Bowl - 38–35 win against Georgia Tech

2008 Fiesta Bowl BCS - 48-28 win against Oklahoma

2008 Meineke Car Care Bowl - 31–30 against North Carolina

Michigan has to make it to a bowl game first and even then Denard would have to be a 5th year to do what Pat did. So even if you write off the Big east he still won 4 bowl games including TWO BCS games.
