  • @GSKellyBEAST6 What kind of apes.. Chimpanzees have been known for hunting Jaguars. Gorillas only fend off Jaguars

  • JAKARTA......

    ouwhh INDONESIA .....:=D

  • Wow what's the chance of a primate and wild cat befriending eachother one in a 100?

  • My hometown!

  • monkey news

  • If they were around each other from younger ages, then the chances of them hurting one another are extremely slim. I've seen some rather odd [friend] couples in the animal world before.

  • those tigers were like "hey dudes! pet us and we'll play with you!"

lol XD maybe not but that would be funny.....

  • this baby tiger doesn't have its killer instinct yet...just w8 until that tiger is 2yrs old..

  • @neonoxy When the orangutan is 15 years old - it can whoop ass!

The tiger may win, but, not without a fight!

  • cute and sweet the oran +tigers

  • It's so cute.

  • they are so cute... i think the baby tigers wouldn't do any harm when they stay with the orangutan until they've grown, i think???

  • They wouldnt be endangered if those stupid hunters would shove thier guns up their asses and stop hunting animals! I am an animal lover!!!!

  • @TheKturpin well for the orangutans is not just the hunters the deforestation and industry what require trees are what kill this animals too. plus this animals sold as a pets in country's like Indonesia Thailand and many more including the usa

  • The tigers will eat the apes at the first opportunity.

  • Aw age of innocence, life hasn't gotten too them yet. They don't know hatered, or discrimination. They're just precious infants rightnow!

  • What an Odd Couple indeed, haha, So freaking cute!!!!!!

  • Sounds like "The Fox and the Hound". That young they are easy to befriend with ANYONE but then as they grow older...

But it's still oh, so endearing to see that while we can. : )

  • please people pronounce their names correctly , its not Orangatang, It's Orang (people or humans) Utan (trees) , "People of the trees" .......nothing to do with their orange coats ..thanx !!!

  • those scientists obviously have never seen that video with a mid-grown orangutan and tiger playing with that orange fabric...

  • Wtf is up with scientists, ruining the mood like that?

People and cats - primates and felines, a friendship right there.

  • I hate when scientists turn a beautiful moment into something harsh and unfeeling. They can never just allow something to be.

  • I think the world is about to explode in cuteness.

  • I don't believe that their instincts will "kick in" like she said. Who knows, these are animals who have feelings just like us. Their friendship could last their whole life...

  • i hope

  • I agree. But I think the orangutans would more than likely stay friendly all their life, chances are it's the tigers that would turn hostile or ferral . . (maybe).

  • The news reporter obviously never saw the Lion King! Best friends for life.

  • well, as i know when a animal live together with human (or other kind of animal) since young, they will have become accustomed to each other and become friends forever, it happens in indonesia, a crocodile become friends (even as family) with a woman and they live together for some years now and it's very strange but wonderful thing

  • dont b fooled people, its stupid to put them together at first and them separating them, if they were going to do that, dont put them together . Even the best of friends become enimies sometimes

  • No, i don't think so either. As with anything, you're only scared/ aggressive towards or of something the less you know about it. And these guys do know each other, they're forming a co-species family.

It's going to be awesome later! But they shouldn't be forcefully separated at all at any stage.

  • Ez kész! Aztán meg a tigrincs jól legyakja a másik jószágot. Pedig milyen harmonikusan indul a kapcsolatuk!

  • Well, childhood seems to be the heaven of all species.

  • the orangutan would own the tigers anyways plus looks like they will be friends for life

    cutiies

  • Newslady has MJ's nose hehe

  • lol

  • I really want to know, will they separate them? it is very dangerous, very..... one day the tiger will eat them up. I want to know that this little ape is safe.

  • There was an AFP article that came out about this story in which the zoo keepers said that they did plan to separate them after a month or two.

  • Thank goodness. I was thinking the same thing as kesaria. The orangs are so trusting and loving. I'd hate to see them get anymoe hurt than they already have been.

  • way too cute!

  • Anyone else find it a bit worrying that the scientists are saying "yeah, probably they'll start behaving like they would in the wild at some point" and not worrying about the fact that if this happens when nobody's looking all the orangutans could get eaten??

  • obviously they would separate the animals before that would happen.

  • Save The WildLife~

  • theres so many endangered species!!!

human race is a plague that wont stop till theres no more left to destroy!... u.u

  • PARA TU INFORMACION!

yes i would.. but that wouldnt make a big difference, so i try to help as much as i can NO NADA MAS ESTORBO COMO TU DE SEGURO LO

  • The obvious thing is nobody wants to hear you fucking rant on about why you don't like your race (humanity). So we all just get mad. Simple enough?

  • nobody is hearing anything pendejo!!!

& yeah i dont care what u say either, so use ur time wisely.

  • Are you high?

  • roflmao

  • if humanity is a plague, then sign me up! That was fast...

  • how wonderful ahh my two faverate animals

  • My dream job - to take care of those fout.

  • Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhlol I've always wanted to do that!

  • Just like it should have been between us as humans too.

  • i know

  • @Astrid270718 Yeah... little human babies would do the same thing. But when the tiger gets older, you can bet that Orangutan will be brutally murdered (of course I'm sure at even the slightest hint of hostility, they will be permanently separated).

  • @Teleisawesome I quess you are right..

  • they are so cute.ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!they look so cute together.

  • so cute

  • Aww Cute babies!!

  • ulgy?! (doh!)

  • ~~:o~~

  • But if they did stay friends then I'd fear for the human race. Imagine if the tigers and orangutans tried to take over the world!!!

  • That'd be awesome!

  • Lol, come see the movie,

    "Planet of the Apes...and Tigers"

  • hahaha

  • Ah, two of my top favorite animals. :) I'd watch it!

  • its a baby try putting them together with adults ahaha

  • Hey Heze87. What you said has no truth to it.

  • OK now say that in English....wtf?
