  • WEL THAT WAS SHIT

  • okay, here's the deal. this cat is a pretty good stick, so he's obviously been flying for a while; but what he does here (in his landing) isn't anything extraordinary. it's just a basic combat tactic adopted for civil flying.

what you're seeing is the latter portion of a fairly "hot" approach, where he uses a pretty long, fast, low level (contour) flare to slow the ship down. to the passengers it's a pretty dizzying, exciting effect, as the ship get's close to the ground pretty quick, and...

  • thats not bell 206 ., its a bell 204 because of its elavator

  • @rockenrolltome its a bell 407 ! what the hell is a bell 204?

  • NICE LANDING!!

  • It looks like the blades are staying still. It looks awesome. Please don't think i am stupid though, it is the frame rate the thing recorded at.

  • 407!!! HAHA!! there now its 51 :)

  • Bell 407*

  • the rotors look still because that's how fast their spinning, along with the camera.

  • the camera wasnt spinning...

  • lol, the camera's shutters were OPERATING at the same speed as the rotors.

  • Correct it is a Bell 407, one of 5

  • Isn't that a 407? The 206 only has 2 blades.

  • isnt that a longranger??? im sure it is because of the verticals on da stabilizers

  • the longrangers only hav top vertical stabilizers where as the 407 has top & bottom and the 206 has none lol plus longrangers only hav two blades lol

  • Heh, looks weard with rotors still ;D

  • this isnt a b206, its a 407 by the looks of it. 206 only have 2 blades

  • thats not a 206. Its 407 i fink. 206 is teetering head, 2 blades

  • The blade system that the 206 has is a semi-riged rotor system, but, you're right with the teetering head and two blades and, yes this is a Bell 407.

  • that is deff a 407: swash plate wide body larger engine four rotors DUH!

  • a very good pilot!

  • Yeh 4 blades on that heli would make it a 407.

  • damn that was a sweet landing

  • is a bell 407

  • That´s a VERY nice landing! And a VERY beautiful helicopter!

  • no rotor xD

  • Had rear rotor

  • is it just me r were those blades not moving

  • It's a conspiracy!

    :P

No, the camera was accidentally in sync with the blade rpm.

  • its a bell 407 cuz u see 4 blades and u hear the sound of the engine

  • Correct 4 blades and the sound is from a Bell 407!

  • That´s a nice approach!

  • Thats a 407 the 206 has 2 blades and is smaller

  • Yup. it's a 407

  • LOW ROTOR RPM

  • wow that sure was a fast landing O.O!

  • Thanks I'm glad someone els here knows their Bell helicopters geez.

  • Yeah, this isnt a 206 its definately a 407

  • Nice landing

  • this is a bell 407 just so you know

  • Wtf? Were the blades spinning? What the hell?

  • the shutter on the camera is going at the same speed as the blades causing it to look like this
