  • 私のすべて‥

  • <3

  • she always beautiful>_<

  • The only Shiina Ringo album I'd heard before Kalk Samen Kuri no Hana was Muzai Moratorium. I was expecting the same kind of grungy pop rock. Instead, I got the music that is what I would imagine you would hear as a creepy little girl with long black hair follows you up the stairs in the dark. Fucking awesome.

  • So beautiful, getting teary eyed here. ;__;

  • does anybody here know where I can download this song?

  • Where's the rest of the song?

  • 1:25-1:38

    She's saying

"nondemo nomikirenu bottle de fujouri wo ah gyoushi seyo"

  • Best

    song

    evarrrrr

  • 絵がかっこいい

  • btw, the song is longer. This is a shortened version.

  • Amazing song. Purely amazing.

  • shes singing; "nande mo momikirenu..."

    :)

  • Hey...what is she saying starting at 1:25??

  • Well... about this translation, I dont think this is done by Japanese cuz its sometimes wrong obviously...

"What I really desire is poison...You know I'm only kidding. If possible I'd prefer the sweets, because I think about drinking tea.

    "

For this part, I would say "It can be poison, doesnt really matter. If possible I'd prefer the sweets,I could spend money for them as much as for water(that means I afford vast money for it)."

We need a real bilingual person!

  • That translation is weird. Americans don't talk that way. I think it is interesting to see how Japanese people talk and think.

  • i think this song reflects the japanese buddhist way of thinking very well, all the stuff about flowers and passing showers, very traditional images.

  • yeah, i think the lyrics sound very good and this is a good translation but some of the lines are a bit confusing, like "if possible i'd prefer the sweet, because i think about drinking tea" i don't understand the leap between wanting a sweet and thinking about drinkin tea, is there a leap? Or do i think there is because i don't know enough about japanese culture?

Great song though and i think i get the gist of it.

  • I think the idea is that somehow tea prevents cavities. So it says, "I would like some sweet. I'm not worried about cavities, because I'm thinking about drinking tea."

  • Japanese sometimes eat a kind of candy during having tea. It's to make the bitter Japanese green tea a bit more sweet. I don't know the name of the candy though.

  • Thanks for posting the lyrics with it! I love this song. ^_^

  • it stops on 3:02 here

  • what do u guys reckon the lyrics mean?

  • "No matter where I go, I can't find just the right cup.

How is that possible when day by day there are more roads and buildings?

Take a gander at the absurdity of a bottle you just can't seem to get to the bottom of."

To me, it's talking about how there are so many different religions & how different each one is. You can't ever really -know- the full truth about life, so you never 'get to the bottom' of any religion, so it doesn't matter which religion you choose. That's my interpretation :)

  • Why does it stop? :(

  • it's not "stopping"

    its just one picture-_-;

  • I think they meant the actual song. The song stops short.

  • *sigh* I guess they could always just look it up on the internet.

  • melissa auf der maur interviewd

  • There is no reason to be so unkind, Scarletarabesque.

The title of the song is "shuukyo", and comes from the 2003 album "karuki samen kuri no hana".

  • i Want

  • Y do u ask wat the name of the song it is when its on THE FUCKING TITLE! and in teh description

  • what name about this song, and come from which album? let me know, thanks!

  • I.Love.This.Song
