  • she has come a long way if you watch some of her other videos!!!

  • Amazing!!!

  • Copellia yay!!! I hope I can do this by next year

  • her feet are gorgeous!

  • she's technically accurate and very pleasent to watch. She coukd however work on her expression a tad more. Ballet is not only about having correct technique, it also about having the ability to act the role your supposed to be playing.

  • @Capizio77 She was 11.

  • holy shit...11??? @jenking30 is completely correct. If your feet and ankles are not strong enough to support yourself on the shoe it can lead to injury later on down the road. I've had extensive training and we were not awarded pointe shoes until we were 13, and even then we used them for half a ballet class 4 times a week. You are a very talented young lady! Your future seems very bright!

  • You can tell her dance comes from her heart, and that she loves what she is doing.

  • WOW!!!!!!!!

  • she just have a big talent !

  • at 00:10 shes not over her box.

incredible dancer though. ive been dancing for 15 years and my dance teacher YELLS at me if im not over my box.

  • SO GORGEOUS AT 0:50

  • @Aiedail1017 ridiculous? I think not. Having spoken to many medical professionals on this topic I can assure you I am quite aware of ages/stages of readiness for pointe. Strength in your body (and feet) comprises of many things... tendons, muscles & bone density. You may have 'strong feet' but that doesn't mean your bones are ready to be punished in the way that pointe training punishes them, it doesn't mean your growth plates are ready to take the full weight of your body and not break or buckle

  • @jenking30 your teachers should know when your ready unless you are a ballet teacher (which I highly doubt) then you cannot tell someone if they are ready or not, i am 11 and i have been on pointe for about 3/4 of a year. And 11-13 is the ideal time for someone to be put on pointe because the growth plates are stronger but can still can have adjustments

  • Her pointe work it fantastic, she has good technique, she has fantastic posture- and she's 11 (older now, I know), leaving her a lot of time to improve. She's a very good dancer.

  • I wish I was as good as her in ballet!!! <3

  • She just needs to work on her arms more, and turnout a little more, and land in 5th better. but she is good for her age :)

  • lets be real shes really really good ..

so all you haters out there saying shes bad thats not truw bkos shes

really good keep up the good work && how is the song call ??

  • She is absolutely AMAZING!!!! :P

  • Im 12 and i go ballet 4 th grade :) ur amazing ,im 12 years old , U MAKE IT LOOK SOO EASY !! amazing <3

  • i can't do that.......i'm 11....

  • If we ever need to prove to invading lifeforms that we're worth keeping, we should show them Ms Pastor's work.

  • )): why can't i do that??

  • this is simply stunning!! her arches are very good, the leaps were awesome, and the whole dance was absolutely beautiful!!!

  • This is with only three years of experience? Clearly I went to the wrong ballet school.

  • @jewee it's because it's in France.. and they do really extensive and hard stuff. Such as rehearsals seven hours a week every day. So don't feel bad!

  • @liviballerina I do it more and i'm from the USA.

  • The lack of applause is actally quite shocking when you're not expecting it.

  • she did win right?

  • CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP! • She is FANTASTIC i love your ballet x ur really talanted

  • She is FANTASTIC i love your ballet x ur really talanted

  • woww! She's brilliant!!!! Her feet are very nice =D

  • damn.. unbelievable.. she's so fantastic °_°

  • What a horrible audience!!! Well I am clapping for you my dear because that was brillant!! So natural and flawless :)

  • beautiful but i think shedoesnt act like swanilda at all

  • Oooh, I can't quite remember what this music is from. Coppelia? This is going to kill me.

I cannot believe how good she is. O: Greatest regret in life: not continuing ballet. I never would have made it to being great--I don't have the right body for it. But still, I would have loved to do ballet.

  • She is like way taller than me

and I'm like 3 yrs older than her

  • Can anyone tell me the name of the turn at 00:33-00:36?

  • @okinawaBallerina Italian foutttes :)

  • @okinawaBallerina italian fouettes(:

  • Yeah, amazing, the technics, control and flexibility are very strong for this age.

That was hard work! And she has really fun, seems very effortless!

  • haha

  • Brava Adeline!

  • No-one can deny this girl is stunning to watch :)

  • Speaking from a teacher's perspective, for me personally, I wouldn't put a child on pointe under the age of 11 unless they had exceptional control, strength, technique, dedication and talent and were looking to pursue a career in dance - but that is simply my own personal view :) This will vary from teacher to teacher and a good one will know whether a child is ready or not :) The majority of students dance for fun so rushing onto pointe is not necessary and can be very damaging.

  • WOW.

  • Her arch is great and her ankles are really flexible.

  • well done, especially for her age.

  • I LOVE IT

  • yeah good but nothing to good

  • She is absolutely amazing!

  • she has faaaaantastic technique. but i personally like the 10-year-old solo (in the red costume) better than this.

  • Wow.

  • those feet!!!!!!!!!

  • I just learned the variation to this music!!

  • she's much better here than the videos when she's older!!

  • Wow only 11! I suck comparatively and I am 15!

  • i wish i had her feet...

  • Wow that was beautiful and so is the pretty ballerina!!!

  • I really don't like the changing of the choreography. Yes, the girl is an amazing turner, but then they should rather chose a choreography that shows off pirouettes in the first place, instead of changing an original choreography. Cause hey, the girl sure can turn!

  • Very Good!!!1

  • what dance school do you go to cuz that was absolutly amazing>>

  • Great Job!!!! I LOve This Song and Your Costume!!!!

  • me and my lil sis both thought that was incredible!

  • it was beautiful. more conscious of ur arms tho

  • Wow.

  • nice balance her point shoes look weird in her feet dont u think

  • i think her point shoes are too broken in maybee. Cause My point shoes look like that becasue they're too broken in.

  • What variation is this?

  • @DontDeal it's Swanilda's variation from the opening of Coppelia by Leo Delibes...unless somebody already answered your question...: )

  • Her sissonnes are unbelievable!! She's excellent. and you should see her turns now!!

  • she is really strong and had a strong core. she's only 11? wow. when i was 11 i was nowhere near as good as this.

  • she has a REALLY strong core

its important that dancers have strong centers/strong stomachs...they can do anything...this is especially true for adeline pastor

  • wow...very nice

  • this is crazy

  • she looks very mature.

  • im sorry but she is not 11

    she looks WAY older

  • i know for reals she looks like 14 or something like that couse i satrded at age 3 anf¿d i still dont dance like that iam in points iam good but not like her hehe do u dance ?

  • I always think her pointe shoes look weird on her feet. But I would die to have her talent.

  • beautiful, I would love to meet her ^_^

  • She looks like she should be a gymnast, not a ballerina.

  • AMAZING!! why didnt the audience clap!!! like omg she was so amazing!!!

  • @chicklets317 thy didnt clap because it a comp. so they take it so seriously, its not like a recital

  • @chicklets317 perhaps they were stunned into silence.

  • @chicklets317 they did clap you just have to turn the volume up to hear it because its so soft

  • @chicklets317 i think they didnt clap because it was in the middle of a competition, she was definitely amazing though!!

  • @chicklets317 i think they didnt clap very much because it was in the middle of a competition, she was definitely amazing though!!

  • @chicklets317 i was ok thanks but they did clap

  • personally i think she did better in the variation when she was 10

  • Excellent! If she dances like this at 11, I would love to see her dance at 21.

  • @jngwatson search for her dancin in coppelia...she's amazing!!!

  • Amazing for an 11 year old dancer !!

  • Questo si chiama talento

  • at my dance recital this is one of the songs the girls danced to haha good though

  • where did she train?

  • i think at paris opera

  • how does she smile for so long?! its asounding

  • is she dancing with a company now?

  • this absolutely blows my mind!

  • jenking, your wrong. im soory, but the real test for pointe is the strength of your feet, ankles, back and core.

  • @BalletSwan1 well its about both. I mean 11 is a good age if the child is strong enough. I believe the other rule only applies if the child is around 9 or 10 or if they havnt grown hardly at all.

  • How old is she now? I saw her do the Don Quixote fouettes, so this must have been years ago.

  • Beautiful, she is such a wonderful dancer. I liked the new version of her dancing Coppelia that you just posted too. Who is this choreography by?

  • Really really good!

  • is she really eleven? x[

  • very amazing, I just think she could have been a little bit softer at some points

  • Great Job...that was fantastic

Although there is just something about Katia...I can't put my finger on it but I just like her and am drawn to her more.

By the way does anyone have videos of her now she is a principal with a European ballet company and is 25...I'd love to see her now

  • she is now in essen , germany and before in wiesbaden...

she is really great and always in shape great.....

  • what's the name of this variation?

  • Her arms look tense a lot, but other than, very good. As good as Katia!

  • better, I think.

  • hey does anyone know the music title. i was thinking about using it for an audition :)

    thanks

  • she is wonderful!

  • Elle danse tellement bien ! :O

  • She lacks flexibillity and thus is living proof you don't have to be like katia almayeva to be a SUPERB dancer!!!!

  • when did u start pointe u are amazing and i started pointe when i was 8

  • Wow! I started @ 11!

  • same :)

  • Wow 8! That is dangerous but you probably have very strong ankles so its ok. You must be good then. You should be atleast 11 to go on pointe but its ok i broke the rules to I was 10.

  • Me too! I would say 8 would be the youngest you should go on pointe. Some peolple say 12, but what if the 8 year old is super strong. I think that it is ok to go on early, just not too early.

  • @jenking30 it's both. you should never go on pointe if your feet have not ossified ( and actually that just means when you are about 9 or 10 they get denser and harder and grow slower) but just because they have doesn't mean you can go on pointe. you still have to train your feet for a long time to be strong enough because if your feet or ankles aren't strong enough then they can fracture just because of the sheer amount of pressure on your feet. if you have a teacher who says diff. find a new 1

  • @jenking30 um, do you actually do ballet ? The real test is about how strong your feet and ankles are and if you start too early when your feet arent' strong enough THEN you're risking to cripple your feet. Ive had pointes since I was 11 or 12 and my feet have grown since then, but I don't have any problems because they're strong enough to hold me up on pointes ! If anyone has problems it's not because your feet are growing its because theyre not strong enough

  • @jenking30 HAHAHAHAHAHA that's absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!!!! Obviously you don't know very much about dance and injury because pointe is VERY much about the strength of your foot. If your foot isn't strong, and you have low arches, then you can easily damage your tendons. You can also terribly misshape your foot in ways that can't be fixed if your technique doesn't have a good basis when you begin pointe. When your feet grow, if you have the good technique you need for pointe you'll be fine.

  • Amazing!!

  • how is the name of this song????? i luve it!!!

  • It's Léo Delibes's ballet Coppélia, first act, this waltz follows the overture, also try the "Thème slave varié", a great deligth too.

  • thank youu♥

  • bravissima!!!

  • AMongst other things, she has really great chaine turns. Beautiful young dancer!!

  • how young did she start pointe?

  • her feet are amazing!!!

  • this choreography was fantastic. and beautifulllll dancerrrr.

  • OMG U ARE BOSS AT POINT I STARTED ABOUT A YEAR AGO an cannt do nothin like that but only cuz our dance teacher does learn us enough of it ¬_¬

  • is she Russian?

  • the music is from the ballet coppelia

  • hiya! i think that your an amazing dancer. and you have devine feet. could you tell me what song that is that your dancing too?

  • Comment removed

  • I love her port de bras at the beginning, her arms are just like silk I found but I wish her hands were as nice too...

  • omg she is amazing. i agree with dancebhjm it makes me so mad that i suck in comparison lol !

  • do you know her please coment back!

  • the pointshoes are sansha

  • very graceful what brand of pointe shoes do u wear? is it freed of london or something else? comment back!!

  • shes very mature , this is just outstanding. i love her arms and fingers - thats just me !

  • that is just amazing. I just really don't like her hands. But this blows my mind =) i'm jealouss,

  • the only thing i dislike are her arms, they seem really stiff and the fingers are always in the same position, they never really extend.

  • I realy have got to stop watching this it makes me so pset Im not that good!

  • Comment removed

  • amazing!!!!!

  • I think it's from Coppelia.

She is excellent ! O_o Is she really eleven ?????

  • Im 11 and very talented but not quite that good!

  • what ballet is this from?? ? WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • beautiful...when i was 11 i hadnt even broken in my pointe shoes xD haha..when i was 11 i was suffering so much because my mother forced me to go up on pointe after i clearly told her i wanted to quit ballet xD

she just has such grace and beaty! beautiful! this is something to be envied

  • 0:51

  • delibes-coppelia

  • Why is there no clapping?! *claps*

  • Amazing artistry. This is top notch. Such grace, yet control. I have not yet seen such beauty, and many of those girls out there are doing pointe so early - to end up later with serious repercussions - this child has mastered the art. To dance to a waltz with such slow tempo takes phenomenal strength and power.

This is prodigal. Lovely. Lovely. BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep your heart in it, Adeline. So dreadful to see exquisite technique without feelings.

    Elizabeth

  • what music is this? i would love to have it. anybody who can help me?

  • i gotta stop watching this! i'm so jealous! i wish i was like her!
