  • This just shows that the left / right spectrum isn't enough to cover all type of freakiness. In a model where you have religious fanatism Pat would be at the outer limit.

  • Robertson is one of the reasons the GOP drifted so far to the right in the first place.

  • Bullshit Robertson, the entire reason the Republican party is soo far right is because of infiltration from Evangelicals in the first place, The Pat Robertsons and Ralph Reeds of the world fucked up what was once the Conservative movement. If Barry Goldwater laid eyes on these fuckups he would join the Democratic party out of intellectual nausea.

  • What exactly is "this [extreme] stuff" that Robertson is criticizing? The video doesn't show that part. The video is just an ad hominem. We're supposed to jeer just because it's pat Robertson criticizing Republicans. How do we know this isn't a broken-clock moment? We don't. This is hackery.

  • haha no pat im going vote for cain the further extreme the better no chance in hell in winning kepp the gop out of office by giving the tea fools there poster child so come 2012 they make an epic fail

  • no shit dumbass..

  • @1awareness from the gospel of philip

  • You know it's bad if Mr. Far-Right himself, Pat Robertson is calling you out for going too far to the right lol!

  • The wealthy SHOULD be the ones who pay for our wars. If ever there were a government collapse, take over, or state of extreme emergency it is the land owners that have the most to lose.

We let them dodge taxes with off-shore accounts, corrupt our representatives with lobbiest and we give them tax-breaks for hiring ppl in india and china. If they really don't wanna pay their fair shaRe, theN I don't think asking them to leave my country is too muCh to asK.

  • What Pat Robertson really wants to say is that he is a NeoCon shill and not to vote for Ron Paul. Only vote for puppets like Romney and Obama

  • Holy fucking cocksnot - too psychotic for Pat Robertson?

    What a commie!

  • @Chronoalarm2009 What government jobs have been lost under the present administration?

  • I agree with Robertson, as nutty as the guy is he actually made sense here. If the Republicans stand a chance at beating the Democrats they had better cease with these social issues and concentrate more on the fiscal ones. It's not the role of the government to dictate social policies anyway, but there a lot of social conservatives wanting the government intervening on their behalf with matters concerning social issues.

  • wow. That's like the devil saying "dang, it's hot in here"

  • Maybe Ron Paul would defend this idiot rights to spout stupidity but then Ron Paul believes in limited government, zero taxation, zero wars and abundent Liberty. Please do not confuse Liberty with Freedom! But give this man his due, he is an idiot with a mouth!

  • How loopy do you have to be for Pat Robertson to call you out?

  • Hes right we need more socialism and more power to the government.

  • WTF?!?!

  • If only a little whisp of cigarette smoke could come out of his mouth at the end of this while he give me an earnest and anxious gaze, I would vote for him.

  • Teaparty hates fags,jews,black,mexicans,mulism etc...

  • devill

  • THIS IS LIKE IF HITLER CALLING SOMEONE A RACIST!!!

  • This is coming from the Devil who called for the assassination of another person,

  • Holly f- wads! If this A-hole thinks they're to extreme, you know they are to F-ing extreme!

  • Pat(sy) Robertson should know about appealing to a gullible audience.

Do what Pat has done all along, lie about your actual intent (money and power not welfare of the human soul).

For heavens sake GOP candidates, stop telling people what you really think! Wait until you are elected and then spring a GWB on 'em, not before!

  • hahaha...GOP

  • WTF? Pat Robertson thinks the GOP is too right wing. I guess that that guy who predicted the apocalypse must have been right after all. I mean, this must be some kind of sign!

  • You know what Pat Robertson, I bet God is rolling on the floor, laughing his ass off every time you open your mouth.

  • remember when pat smoked weed and decided it should be legal

  • Teapot, meet Kettle.

  • Irony.

  • after he said it was ok to divorce your sick wife he became very popular with all the republicans, now they don't know what to think.

  • @4fingerlid

Well, with the nutty theocratic Statist side of the GOP, anyway.

  • The problem lies with the Christian Right. They mouth 'small government', but want to implement social controls that will make the economic regulations of liberalism look downright laissez-faire in comparison. "A pox on both their houses", as FDR would say. ;-)

  • It must suck for him now that the Republicans aren't focusing on abortion and gays and all those other social issues he can talk about without any sort of topical knowledge whatsoever on and still have a following about. Economics is hard, you see; they don't talk much about it in Deuteronomy.

  • I believe that he he is opposed to the number of things that are being required to be a Republican. The only thing that matters right now is removing Obama, balancing the budget and restoring the rule of law and possible imprisoning Obama, Holder and many people in his administration for treason. Pat is a whack job.

  • @TerrierToughGuy And of course you are the harbinger of reasoned rational thought.

  • @SALESPRODUCTIONS Glad to see you realize that...LOL

  • If Pat Robertson thinks your too extreme - then perhaps you should seek professional help - because - damn - YOU CWAZY !

  • Coming from the same guy that agreed with Jerry Falwell that we deserved 9/11, and he's saying Republicans are too extreme?

This fucker is one of the most contradictory and idiotic people I've ever witnessed.

  • Even when I agree with him...he remains one of the great dickheads of our time.

  • I agree with him, but this is rich coming from the guy who thinks that celebrating Halloween is devil worship, gays caused 9/11, Christians are suffering worse discrimination than any minority in history, and that feminism encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, and become lesbians. Yeah, let's not be extreme at all, folks................... Really, now.

  • The devil never looked so evil.

  • I'm amazed. Robertson is right.

  • Hell froze over... I agree with Pat Robertson about something.

  • Hell is not actually hot from what I've heard.

  • Wha?! Did a guy who blamed gay people for terrorist acts he called god's punishment just accuse members of the GOP too extremist???

    Wow.

  • Pat thinks the Republicans should lie about their true feeling to win. I wish the democrats would tell the truth and admit to being Republicans in sheep's clothing. Then we could all just stay home on election day;.

  • He is one of the main causes of this extremeness.

  • If Repukes lose, It'll be a good thing.

  • When you're too extreme for Pat 'AIDS was sent by God to kill gays' Robertson, you should sit down and examine what the hell is wrong with you. Or apply for voluntary sterilization.

  • Wow, what a genius...maybe he should get into politics...

  • This is why we gotta vote for Ron Paul.

  • @JackieFuckingChan Ron Paul doesn't believe in evolution or the separation of church and state. I can give you so much more reasons if you want.

  • I must be in the fucking Twilight Zone or something, did I just hear Pat Robertson making sense?

  • @Naminator236 Holy shit lmao I was thinking the exact same thing xD

  • This Pat Robertson has been possessed. This can't be the real Pat Robertson. Will the real Pat Robertson please stand up?

  • Pat is making sense! Run for the hills the end days are upon us! Repent, repent for we all are doomed!

  • Pat is basically admitting that the RepubliKKKan has to tell lies as he knows their message is unpalatable to the majority of Americans

  • further proof that Pat Robertson is a secret atheist. He forgot that he was the same guy that blames homosexuals and individuals in the abortion industry for every natural disaster that happens. He encourages the 'base' to go extreme, so he has only his own very rich self to blame for how crazy people are being. Him and other leeches of his stripe.

  • Damn. When a nutjob like Pat Robertson is saying the GOP has gotten too extreme, you just KNOW that party has totally gone off a cliff.

  • HAHAHA - when Pat Robertson is "liberal" compared to the insane RepugliKKKan party - you know the party has basically become the Neo-Nazi Party.....

  • I didn't know Grandpa from the Musters was still alive!

  • it just got cold in here

  • I really think the extremism from the repube candidates stems from their lack of sophistication as persons generally and about campaigns specifically. The only candidate they have that could be remotely described as some political chops is Gingrich and he's not electable. I strongly suspect the repubes fully expect to lose in 2012 so this is all they are going to through at it.

  • 21st Century Republicans = batshitcrazyignorantmorons

  • I'm an atheist and this fucker is normally right on the money.

  • He (for once) got it right. Good comments below, too!

  • You know your pretty fucked up if Pat Robertson is the voice of reason.

  • As a former life-long republican, I agree with him and I hope they do lose. The days of Barry Goldwater are LONG GONE. Socially, they are religious zealots and fiscally they are fascists. Vote Obama, he's better than any of the Republicans.

  • @christo930

I'd push Jesse Ventura, or the Grand Old Man Mike Gravel.

Obama is still pandering to corporations.

  • @bohemianwriter1 Ventura is a conspiracy nut and simply isn't qualified to be president. Obama is bad, but he is the devil I know.

  • @christo930

Is it being a conspiracy nut to do some digging, and not believing in what your government is tellling you?

What constitutes being qualified to be president? Does having been a governor qualify you to run?

Obama is still a corporate shill! Ventura is an independent! And he has not been corrupted! You do the bloody math!

  • @bohemianwriter1 He isn't just doing some digging, he is going on TV and claiming 9/11 is inside job, that is a conspiracy nut. But that isn't 1/2 the problem with Ventura. He doesn't have class or finesse and is uneducated (he has only a HS diploma, which doesn't technically rule him out, but do you want someone who failed out of community college running the country?), last but not least, he doesn't WANT to run for president and lives in Mexico.

  • @christo930

Put it like this: Why bthe secrecy in the Bush/Cheney regime?

A few key words: Operation Northwood, and the Reichstagfire.

Are you sure he only have a HS diploma? Where are your sources on that?He did an excellent job in Minnesota as governor there, and seem to be far better educated than most scam artists in Congress.... And unlike you, he dares to ask questions! Unlike you, he does not believe in what his government tells him!

  • @bohemianwriter1 According to Wikipedia he graduated HS and then enrolled in a community college and then left (it doesn't say if he failed out or just got bored of it or whatever). I don't see what the Reichstags fire has to do with 9/11. It isn't even known for sure that anyone connected with the NSDAP had anything to do with the fire, it could have been anyone. But if it was the NAZI's, even they did it at night, not in broad daylight.

  • @christo930

The Reichstagfire have got everything to do with 9.11! Educate yourself! Study your history, and don't bother me until you got something actual knowledge about things!

GOP is the prolonging of the NSDAP! GOP is a wholy owned subisdiary of the Fascists whom are now taking over your country!

Jesse Ventura is still more qualified than any other GOP candidate today!

  • @bohemianwriter1 What is the connection between the Reichstags fire and 9/11? And before you say "false flag terrorism", there is no conclusive proof or evidence that the NAZIs set the fire. The only connection between them is that opportunistic governments took advantage of them (regardless if they were involved or not) and used them as an excuse to usurp more power. I have forgotten more about the NSDAP then you will ever know. I agree that all (except Paul) GOP candidates suck.

  • pat! thank your namesake pat buchanan for the southern strategy....

  • stupid bastard finally figured it out

  • For once, I actually agree with this dildo.

  • @aestevalis0

From now until time ends, Pat Robertson shall be henceforth known as "this dildo."

  • I wonder who threw a truckload of money at him to make him change his tune.

  • for once in my life i agree with Pat Robertson

Harold Camping was right it is the Apocalypse

    where all Doomed Doomed Doooooooomed

  • Yes, Liars for Jesus! Don't tell us your true positions, you might not be able to do them!

  • You know things are going too far when Pat Robertson says to take it down a notch.

  • @leonel1982

Yours deserves to be the top post.

  • It's better to know what the fruitbats are believing at forehand, than finding out once they're sworn into office. The crazier the things they say, the less people will vote for them.

But Pat makes sense for those who want right-wing Christians to be elected. Let's hope the "value-vote" candidates don't heed his words.

  • The GOP dun goofed. When it decided to abandon simple conservative principles in favor of polarization, the die was cast.

It's HARD to pander to racists, gun nuts, Christian fundies, anti-choice kooks, homophobes, secessionists, corporate fat cats and lobbyists all at once, while sounding reasonable to centrists and independents. The strategy of exclusion is self-defeating.

If the GOP wants to be relevant, cut loose the lunatic fringe of the party and give thoughtful conservatives a chance.

  • @WoodyLittle Well said.

  • @wickedenchanter

Heh, I may be a dyed-in-the-wool lib, but I do miss the days when smart conservatives might convince me to change my mind. Nothing wrong with tradition. Or pragmatism. Truth be told, I LIKE gun-toting rednecks!

Nowadays, all we get is Caribou Barbie, Governor Rick and Turncoat Romney. Throw in Ron "I Fathered Rand" Paul and it's almost like they don't WANT to win.

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah...........

  • Wow, I'd rather they be open with their hateful views of America than just keep it quiet until they win office. Screw Pat Robertson. If God actually does exist he is going to be burning in hell lmao.

  • I though everyone knew that Pat was just a con man who just pretends to be a Christian to make millions.

  • don't ever trust what this fucker says. he has a very devious ulterior motive for making this point:

the god damned liar wants to win the white house at ANY cost, even if it means lying to the american public! then should the republican candidate, who ever he is, win the presidency, all his brand of crazy "christian" shenanigans will begin in earnest!

    just wait and see!

  • Let me interpret this statement for everyone. Pat's saying that Republicans should concentrate on hiding their true beliefs in order to get elected. Good thing Jesus said to hide your light under a bushel. Or was it the other way around? I can never remember.

  • Sorry Patsy too late, lunatics have taken over the asylum!

Where were you during the birther bullshit, The toothpaste is out of the tube, you can't get it back in.

My father is a conservative and they scare the shit out of him.

  • Wow! If even Pat Robertson is saying you're too extreme, maybe you shoulder reconsider.

  • If Pat motherfucking Robertson says you're too extreme, you're probably too extreme.

That's like a Japanese game show owner telling you that you're doing something weird and/or dangerous.

  • I think Hell might have just frozen over...

  • You know, if Pat Robertson thinks you are too extreme then you know you really are way too far over in right field. Frankly I'm shocked. I never thought that I would EVER agree with Pat Robertson on anything. Hell has truly frozen over. LOL.

  • Pat Robertson asking GOP's to not push extreme positions? Pot, I'd like to introduce you to Kettle.

  • Well God Dam Pat!! Just once in my 62 yrs you have said something I agree with. However I hope they don't stop! I hope they spin themselves right back into the twilight zone from witch they came!

  • ...O.o...

  • holy fucking shit, Pat Robertson finally said something I agree with.

  • So even Pat Robertson is against the Fox News Tea Party? Wow.

  • All Robertson is saying is abandon the extremist rhetoric until after the election. He's not saying the GOP should abandon the extremist agenda.

  • WTF did he just say??????????

For once he actually makes a little sense.

Hmmm.... Was that Rich Little doing a Patty Robertson impression??

  • What the hell did I just hear Pat say?

It's official, he's senile. This is not the Pat Robertson we all know and loathe. Ironic that when he's senile he makes sense. Probably just a fluke, stay tuned.

  • What the hell is wrong with him, he is the far right?!

  • Pat Robertson being logical and (somewhat) moderate.... IT'S THE SEVENTH SEAL!!!!!!

  • earth to pat, earth to pat.......... YOU ARE THE REPUBLICAN BASE!!!!!

  • Is this opposite day?

  • Wow. Pat's right on this one!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA... THIS GUY IS SOMETHING ELSE... UNBELIEVABLE LMAO!!! I'D LOVE TO KNOW WHAT THIS DUMBASS IS SMOKING..

  • Holy shit. The senseless made some sense.

    Hell just froze.

  • @c300v

Don’t get excited, he supports the extreme right. He just wants the candidates to lie about their position, and seem reasonable, so they can win the election.

Once in the white house, he would prefer they create a theocracy.

  • @Blairtim69 Oh, I know. I mean if anyone knows how to appear loving, kind, and caring (at least to his target base), while at the same time being vague, devious, and a total ass with a hidden maniacal agenda, it's Bob. lol

  • @c300v

No, this man is still mindless and Hell is still hot.

You see, they are like a person who says that 2+2=5 one day; 2+2=3 the next day and 7 and 0 throughout the months. Then he throws in 2+2+4 just to throw you off. As soon as he's done that, he goes back to 2+2= ?_?_?_?_?_?

  • @c300v hahahaha right on!

  • That is IRONY

  • I love it when Repugs eat their own. :-)

  • Pat said something sensible.

    I'm confused. O_o

  • I agree.

  • I actually thought he was going to say they were too far to the left.

  • What a surreal feeling... I actually agree, with Robertson! o.o"
