@shanntheman Mmm, no. Joining and fighting for one faction is no different from another. Having own kingdom is why started this let's play and why I started playing Warband to begin with. If I'd do another Warband let's play, it would be with mods (and not the native game), but I haven't decided yet, as there's plenty to go with Violet's Tale.

@lUnseenSniperl Watch the episode 24 and the related post on my blog for tips on trading, that's how I make money. Other ways are: do quests for village elders, guild masters in towns or lords. Or just hunt looters, bandits and sea raiders (if you have enough exp and army) and sell the loot. Lastly, when you have money, make sure to set up industries (productive enterprise) in all towns to get money flowing in each week without doing anything

You should get auto-loot mod, it makes upgrading companion gear so much easier.

@sovijus duh, disregard that. Forgot that auto-loot is part of Diplomacy mod, so you actually have it. Just need to set up templates for your companions in Camp menu in-game.

@Halo4eternity I know you were asking him, but I have hundreds of hours into this game so I'll tell you my opinion. Infantry = Nord Huscarls. Archers = Rhodock Sharpshooters Calvary = Swadian Knights.

@Halo4eternity My personal favorites are: Infantry = Nord Huscarls (or Rhodok Sergeants against cavalry), Arches = Rhodok Sharpshooters & Sarranid Master Archers, Cavalry = Sarranid Mamlukes & Swadian Knights

@jlcjcdc Try both :) Crossbows are nice as you don't need skill for it, like bows need power draw. Best (most damaging) crossbows can't be used on horseback, but they are great for sieges. I've learned to like horse archery during this let's play, as it's quite rewarding when you actually hit something.
