  • Hey, just wondering if you can make smoothies with this? Could I juice some oranges with the juice plate, then change to the blank plate and put through some bananas and greens, then mix the 2 together so the result is a smoothie? I need a new juicer and a new blender... trying to see if get one of these maybe i can do without the blender? Also wondering if they can do nut milk?

  • @7bluewren Hi yes, you can prepare smoothies like that. And nut milk is also possible we tried from Almonds. Soak nuts over night and then juice together with water.

  • Hi, we have never tried artichoke leaves. Depends if they have strings inside. If not it might be OK to juice them. Hard to say. Jakub

  • Can you make juice of artichokes leaves? or they're too hard?

  • can you juice pomegranate juice with this machine, will the seeds plug or damage the juicer?do you know?i am gonna buy one of these but i dont want to mess it up ,

any help please is appreciated, thanks 4 the vid

  • @mikertones Hi, Yes pomegrantes are no problem for the juicer. I think on some other video we have made pomegrante juice. Thank you for your comment.

  • @euJUICERScom oh thats good because i went ahead and ordered it earlier yesterday ,thanks mate

  • Yah, but if you have an 8003 or 8005 you can simply upgrade to the better auger and you've got the same, basic machine. Sure the button is on the top but I've never had an issue with getting water into the button. Maybe I don't just a lot of wet fruit.

  • just got mine the other day. it is so nice and quiet and super easy to clean and use. i am a huge fan already

  • Excellent review of the J800x family. I only have the J8006 but I love seeing pros demonstrating the full range. I didn't realize the pulp containers for the J8003/5 were smaller.

  • great vid. thanks for posting!!

  • can you grind frozen fruits for sorbets in it ?

  • @DarthHuru nvn, i've watched second part and got my answer :)... I'm so getting this one :)

  • @DarthHuru Hi Yes, sorbets can be done with Omega 800X.

  • @DarthHuru Yes can be done =)

  • hi, I am buying this juicer soon, I am wondering whether it could handle sugar cane.....i want to make sugar cane juice...I have no problem acquiring the sugar cane but thhe problem is it is VERY HARD stuff...I wonder if this juicer could make easy work of it and give me sugar cane juice?

  • @hishoooooooooooooooo Hi and thank you for your comment. This juicer is not made to process sugar cane. We haven´t tried to juice it so it might be possible, but normally you would need something more similar to dual gear press to get good results with sugar cane.

  • @euJUICERScom thank you for your comment. I really like your videos. Are you referring to the angel twin gear juicer? that thing is like 1000 dollars, If thats the only other option, I'll just buy the 8004 juicer omega from amazon and will just be happy with all my other options and it might also crush sugar cane.

  • @hishoooooooooooooooo Hi, I know Angel juicer have tested special attachment for sugar cane. Normal Angel setup will not work with sugar cane. You better try the Omega in my opinion.

  • Hi, to be honest we haven´t tested cranberries on any juicer so we do not feel confident to recommend any of these for this type of produce. All juicers will be able to process kale, beets, radishes with good results. Single auger juicers will feed easier than dual gear juicers when it comes to hard produce. Leafy greens will be having better results with twin gear juicer and feeding will be easier with dual gear juicers.

  • Hi, Would the omega-800x series be the best for a drink recipe of: kale / beets / radishes / cranberries ? Or would a Green Star Elite GSE-5000, Samson 9006, Huron HU-100 be better suited?

I know some juicers are better than other for leafy greens, while others are better for hard produce.. I'm looking for one that can do only those ingredients on the recipe the best!!

    Thanks!

  • Great Vid! Thanks for all of them. Me and and wife are expecting our 8004 in the next few days. We are ready to put that thing to work. Quick question: have you guys tried to make Almond/Coconut milk? If so, how did it turn out? Again thanks for the videos and keep them coming.

  • @CriticalBill665 Hi, thank you for your comments. We haven´t done almond milk with 8004 but as it works great with vertical machines we can expect the same nice results with 8004/6. The key is to let the almonds soak overnight and then juice with a spoons of water in radio 1:3 one piece of almonds and 3pcs of water. Let us know how it worked for you. Thank you!

  • Question - You've also done a comparison of the Super Angel and "X". So you have had a chance to experience the juice from all three.

A little background - I've had a Champion for 30 years (yes and never broke down!) but am ready to move up. Juice from the Champion tastes gritty or pulpy to me unless I strain it. (I run pulp thru multiple times). Gets the juice strong.

What is the taste and pulp exerience using the Omega 8006 vs the Super Angel?

  • @mtoddkoren Hi, Both Omega and Angel deliver smooth and pulpless juice witl minimum amount of foam. About the taste it quiet close.. I would say that Angel is more taste rich juice than Omega.

  • Excellent presentation!!

  • When I watch your videos I wonder why I would EVER want to eat something that DIDN'T nourish my body.

  • Oh my goodness! He is soooooo cute! (little boy) Love the way he "popped up" from behind the counter! ADORABLE!

  • Awesome video!
