i know you are trying to get technology victory, but giving US Thomas Edison was well...retarded. you could have used him to complete the technology you are researching. and you obviously could hold your own. 4 turns of peace is nothing. thats like 5 minutes. i also dont like how you arent making any cavelry. you could have easily defeated the russians and romans with a knight/horsemen army. it doesnt matter that you wwant a tech victory...you can still take one civ out, that means less war. -_-

wow 1850 AD and you are still being attacked by basic warrior/legion/archer units, and the odd knight army. If you like this game enough to make a youtube video, try winning on a higher level. Trust me, Deity is very beatable because you start out behind but eventually the AI stops researching at a competitive pace. At warlord, they use sticks and stones and the odd horse until the year 2000 or past.

You can stack units in the city, and the AI can do that too. You have to attack it again and win until every unit that can defend itself is dead, or leaves the city.

that means there are many units defending the city.. you just have to keep attacking it.. until they run out of units.. then you should get the city.. or it will lead you to the capital city

Sometimes. Some games, I spend the whole game basically without armed conflict, while in others I wind up fighting the whole time; more than this, even. I guess it depends on the Civ.
