moonshell is useless on gnm (as it has built-in media functions), but after my gnm broke and i got a cyclo, the only choice was to get Lmp-g or moonshell, so i got both. lmp-g couldnt play some of my music, and moonshell2 is too slow loading music. but even gnm had trouble with playing music (even more than Lmp-g and moonshell2.

second go to format and select fat32

Extract the zip (if the skin is in a zip) then replace all the Moonshell graphic files from the skins folder on your card. It deletes the old skin when you do this.

You can download the FLV file from Youtube using some other sites or site hacks (google "download youtube video" for info). Then you can convert this .flv file into a .dpg using either batchDPG or DPGEnc (if it supports .flv) otherwise convert .flv -> .avi -> .dpg

I dont see the point of getting moonshell on Games n Music. GnM can already play .mp3 files and comes with a Program which allows you to convert any movie file into a .d3v file which is another video file readable by GnM.

But that built in one SOUNDS ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS! It annhiliates music to static filled nonsense. Moonshell has much better audio quality than the GnM menu.

The new one is easier, just select Games n' Music from the menu instead of GBAMP. You don't have to re-patch it either.

Never had that before...try changing your encoding settings, re-encode the video, or try a different video or video format. You could also use Batch DPG which is another encoder for moonshell.

Encode your video at a lower bitrate. The Games n' Music is a very slow cartridge, and videos usually lag on it. Encoding at lower bit rates, though cutting quality, will reduce the amount of data that the DS must stream from the card, and it would reduce lag, either that or use a faster cartridge, like GBAMP.

Do you have the new installer that has Games n' Music on the menu? If you do, then you don't have to re-patch it for GnM, just select Games n' Music instead of GBAMP at the MoonShell Setup screen.

But, this video is old, and the latest MoonShell installer has Games n' Music on the list, so instead of GBAMP, pick GnM then you don't have to repatch it.

You can't, you can't load nds files using MoonShell on a GnM, it doesn't support the GnM (GnM being the adapter), so the poorly done English translates to "MoonShell does not support your current adapter." Turn off your DS, turn it back on, load .nds.

They don't work with a GnM, period. They work with other carts, but I've said which ones elsewhere, and I don't want to spread piracy. Needless to say, carts that play pirated games are only available online.

I f there is please tell me because I downloaded a transformers "game" online and I was able to get it onto my games n music memory card and it showed up as a ds file on my ds, but it freezes up whenever i click on it. please reply

No, ROMS are illegal, end of statement. DO NOT USE THEM.

Anyways, there are technical reasons because ROM is > 4MB and doesn't use any form of libfat/DLDI to read from the card, so it crashes when it can't be copied to DS memory, but fact is, ILLEGAL, so just BUY games..u know, at the STORE.

You don't DOWNLOAD videos, you convert them...well, you can convert downloaded videos. You get videos (.avi, .mpg, etc) and open the dpgenc program as shown in the video, then you drag the video clip to the program and it converts it to .dpg, which you then put on your GnM and watch on your DS.
