its called a blow-through. they cut your cab and the bed of your truck and basically mold-to-fit your box. I have a buddy of mine that has 4 12s and his box goes out to almost half of his bed. bad thing is your always going to have to have a cover

oh no you should definately go to an audio shop and ask them about it. cause unless you know how to cut that shit, you shouldnt even try. just ask around and find a well respected shop who does that kind of stuff. all the cutting job and custom box could cost around to $1000-2000 bucks without wires and speakers and amps

yeah a shop did mine. i do alot of business with the guy that did mine so he only charged 800 for the box and the cutting and sealing etc

sounds good, I tried the boss speakers, but they couldnt handle a jl 300/4, kept burning up so i went back to RF. also built a piece wrapped in suede for my front grill with 4 PB tweets and 2 monitor speakers. im done with the truck for a while. if you want to see some pics, i can post them tomorrow. also going to try the new pioneer 6x9s for the outside. will see how they sound. RF sounds the best so far, but as soon as they get dirt on them, have to replace them.
